It all started when…
In December 2015 we packed up and hit the road for what we thought would be a 12 month Lap of Oz. Fast forward 4 years and we decided to create a video series of our travels to show you all what it’s like to live life on the road!!
Cheers - Justin & Bec
Congrats Justin & Bec & to your lovely kids too what an absolute ripper of a asset you bought its a luxury mate & i hope you make heaps of trips around this beautiful country & keep entertaining us i am looking forward to it & a big thumbs up from your fans in India Cheers :)
Thanks mate
@@TripInAVan If possible upload some lockdown workout vids i am interested :)
What a gorgeous family and I really appreciate the love, respect and affection you show the family Mister. Safe and happy travels!
For Easter we used to go down to McLaren Vale and have a Easter egg hunt in the Hardy’s maze with all the kids, there’s about 20 of them between 5 families
Mate use the half hot plate on the Weber as an anchor for the tinny and get yourself a Weber frypan. Awesome bit of kit for doing eggs and omelettes on the bbq. Loving the Vids, hopefully not too much longer and you guys can get back on the road. Cheers.
Lol at the backup BBQ chook at 11:46. Bec really had no faith in you mate.
😂😂
I think you all are the ones that are bloody Legends you put out so many great videos there is not one video that I have not given five stars I hope one day next year if things go well I get to meet all you five in my travels next year thanks again Chris from Geelong
Wow, thank you! Glad you’re enjoying the vids mate
I do Justin ever since I started following you you've given great advice great tips for when I head out and travel on my own next year hopefully I get to catch up with you mate for a beer and definitely a good fishing trip
Dunno who had the biggest smiles, Dad with the first fish in the tinny
Mum with the new van, kids in their new bunks.Great episode thanks.
Gary thanks mate
Justin, perfect Falcon on Billy. Like the reverse layout inside the van. Kitchen looking over the outdoor area instead of the neighbors one.🤘🤘
😂😂
Another ripper video guys. Funny, we were staying in that same park on (what looks like) the same site as you, last year.
What an uplifting Video to watch in these times, congratulations Justin, Bec and your children for showing this crazy world how life should be, truly inspirational.
It was great to see the gear you carry with you and as we all know, its all about weight, Tania and I have been using the Fusion Lock gear for a while and find them great, so simple and sturdy.
I must say that we look up to you as full time "Vanners" as we are and you have been inspirational in us making this decision to be on the road full time, we are on the move again in the morning, heading off to another Free Camp in SA. PS- Love your set up, simply the best.
Take Care in your travels Guys
Thanks guys, and safe travels.
The kids excitement with the bunks... the horizon is so much closer when you are that little.
Cannot wait for the caravan tour, I’m like... look at all that custom storage😍😍 That huge kitchen window! And kitchen bench!😂😂 I know, I’m more interested in the decore, than the tools... something for everyone in this vid. Xx
Actually Justin, seeing you’re on the Noosa River, did you guys go up stream and see Richard Brandon’s personal Island,‘beautiful 😊
We did see that yeah, crazy
Awesome - you guys are naturals and very good at this. Really enjoyable. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it mate, thankyou
Trip In A Van - RoadTrip Australia Series just bought an Atlas tool roll using your discount code. Thanks. Hope it helps both of us!
Love the new van ... love the look of it ... thanks for the tour ... I could feel your excitement Becc !! ♥️❤️🍾🎉
Love the new setup but the tinny is the icing on the cake looking forward to the new fishing channel😁
Cheers bud🍺
great vid! you have those shower baskets wrong way around. the side with the bit sticking out is suppose to go against the wall as a support.
Oh yeah! 😂😂
Great Vid Guys, perler spot to be in lockdown, someone mightv'e already said it in the comments. Just be wary of your size limits on Flattys in QLD Bud, Duskys have to be 40cm min and 75cm Max, either way they were good lizards and the Golden Trev, Mate!!!!!!!! they rock aye, I chase em off the beach at Inskip Point, bloody good chewin too, my best is 13kg. Enjoy folks and cheers for the vids
what a magical place
I’d happily swap with yas.
Melbourne has been rather chilly.
Lovin the new van guys & seeing how happy Bec & the kids are was absolutely worth it.
I get so much joy from seeing others happy.
You guys deserve it.
Stay cool my Leyland Brothers Family. 🤙🏽
Walkabout With Kira cheers mate
Great video. We have been touring and living in our caravan for the past 10 years now. So we know what is like to live in a our caravan. I dont think I can ever live in a house again. We are currently in Karratha, exploring the Pilbara region.....the weather is perfect here 28 degrees during the day, but the nights are getting cooler down to 16 degrees, but at least you have water views. If we have itchy feet we go camping with our oztent...plenty of watering holes, beaches and rivers to camp here. Keep up the good work. :-)
That was a great watch!! Thanks heaps and be safe:) That set up is all time!!! It was great to see the excitement on all your faces. Looking forward to seeing more fish in the tinny:D
Thankyou
Well done with the van looks great cant wait for the walk around.
That gear from Bunnings, so handy.
So good
hey guys i am glad you are safe and i love watching your vids you always make me smile. justin is such a great husband getting bec a nice fish, just a tip for small fish when you want to mesure them or stop them from wrigiling put them upside down. (belly up) it will stop them from flapping.
love you guys
What a great life!!! I have watched this vid twice, dreaming of the day when I will be travelling.
Dennis Calvert cheers mate
What a good family. Enjoying life with kids. What a life.
Hey - great video guys.... really enjoyed it..
In your tool kit... i didnt see and screw drivers?
3 easter eggs at a time.... torture!!!
Loved the new winch head!!
I'd love to know more about getting your tinny on and off the car and getting it to the water.. The front stay / stand for the tinny looks very simple.... is it solid enough the prevent it from getting bumped over accidentally?
Love the comments about mum eating all the chocolate!! classic... "mum ... stop it!!!"" hahaha... your kids are great characters!
Keep up the great work!
Thanks mate. I do carry a screwdriver with multiple interchangeable heads.
The front stand on the tinny is just the t bar that’s used when loading and unloading tinny on roof loader. I’ll have heaps more info on the boat in future eps..
You have a very beautiful family. God bless you all
Thankyou
Great van guys, I wasn't expecting Bec to show a garbage bin cupboard.....I was waiting for the big reveal wine cabinet.
Wayne Spencer 😂😂 a bit sad I know, but so functional !!!
If you can spare the room I'd suggest to carry MACS ultra film engine flush for the outboard. It removes all the salt and puts a protective coating through the engine. I run a ski boat in the Maroochy River here on the Sunny Coast. High RMPs for barefoot water skiing up around 4800-5000RPMS. Engine has been rebuilt to ensue everything was OK and more of a preventative thing and no rust etc. You could use just a 1L bottle and it would do you oh say 10-20 flushes depending on how much you need to use for your small engine. I would also throw in inox to spray the engine too. Ohh I forgot too you can buy the MACS from Whitworth down ar Wrana/Kawana which is just over the Mooloola River at Mooloolabah
Hey guys been watching your channel for a year...yeah just discovered hadn’t subscribed...fixed that. Been wondering how you going...was thinking about a home school one, as we’ve used you guys as examples for our kids to try and explain that the timetable is flexible and what they can do to combine lessons and home life...cheers ( your kids have a following with our kids)😂
Thanks mate, home school coming soon
Happy and safe travels TIAV crew 😊 A good fisherman catches, cleans and cooks their fish, so good job Justin! I had some Baldchin Groper cooked in beer batter yesterday and it was effing delish lol.

G'DAY Guys, love the new van & is just great to see,the Toyota emblem on shots of tow rig,a couple of hints, from my over 40 years as a tradesman, try replacing WD40 with INOX,you will never go back to any dewatering \lubricant again! 2= after a lifetime of Flathead fishing &decades on Sunny coast, you have likely inadvertently discovered the secret to catching flathead, always stand offshore at least 50_100 MTR ,then cast toward shore, and return bait/lures back in a jerking motion,5_10 MTR at a time,3= for Bream/Trevally, buy 5_6 of the biggest prawns you can find,Salt dry with butcher's Salt, cut into 25_30 mm pieces, then freeze in Zip lock baggies, perfect bait for younger fishermen to handle onto 1\0 hooks,3=with beer batter, try addition to flour before adding beer, curry powder, chilli powder or herbs\spices to taste,4=don't forget to include in tinny equipment, 2ltrs of water per day,in your case a 10 Ltd designated drinking water Jerry can? 5=consider when heading north, going via Gympie_Kilkivan_Gayndah_Biloela (my hometown)_Rockhampton_etc,as always, Kindest Regards,Dave McLaughlin Queensland Australia
