  • Scripture warns that the love of money leads to evil (1 Timothy 6:10) and cautions against forgetting God for worldly pursuits (Jeremiah 18:15). Wealth, intended by God to advance His kingdom, requires responsible stewardship. Jesus assures provision for our needs (Matthew 6:31-32), urging us to use wealth wisely to bless others and honor Him. Trust is built through faithful tithing, connecting with the church, and managing time effectively. Ultimately, we're called to prioritize God over wealth (Matthew 6:24) in our stewardship. #stewardshipministries
For the love of money is the root of all evil… (1 Timothy 6:10 KJV)
Because My people have forgotten Me, They have burned incense to worthless idols. And they have caused themselves to stumble in their ways, from the ancient paths, to walk in pathways and not on a highway. (Jeremiah 18:15 NKJV)
    God’s knowledge begins with understanding:
The purpose for wealth; to influence the earth with God’s kingdom ways.
    The stewardship of wealth.
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. (Matthew 6:31-32 NLT)
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 NIV)
Supplying our daily needs is a part of being God’s child. Stewarding God’s wealth is being a kingdom partner with God.
God wants us to move from being containers to being distributers.
    Building Trust:
    1st Test: The tithe
“Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ “In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse-your whole nation-because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:8-10 NIV)
2nd Test: The Connection and submission to the body of Christ.
3rd Test: How you use your time.
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. (Matthew 6:24 NIV)
