There's update. Where in firmware 6.9.0 bass better. It's now follows the EQ when you set to +2 the bass was has much noticeable difference. And where you out down to -1 everything
In this comparison the PB Encore wins the bass. it pretty much own the power. But the Boombox 3 was actually Good at keeping up with the Encore at bass. Just make sure use 2+ -1 -1 in firmware 6.9.0 or latest
@@maxydaxy1843 the audio was equal, because they released in same brand, but the way they turned is different. Posted vs sealed. The sealed less of inpact and pressure, more on clean bass side. Posted was for earthquake side.
The bb3 wins. While having around the same bass volume as encore, bb3 can produce clear vocals and highs clearly compared to encore, thus making it sounds louder. One thing that encore has over bb3 is the light feature.
@@maxe7258 Maybe is something with your units then, my boombox 3 Has a Bass wich,altougj not as pronounced, is deeper than on my pb encore, Ive tested both amd the results were this 50HZ Encore = -2DB Boombox 3 = -5DB 45 HZ Encore= - 8 DB Boombox 3 = -4 DB 40 HZ Encore = -17 DB Boomboz = -7 DB 35 Hz Encore = - 24 DB Boombox 3 = - 13 DB Below 30 hz both speakers cut out so they dont bottom out

Encore sounds better, deeper fuller bass and not schreechy when pushed to full volume like the bb3 gets

Just equal the encore to get some more midrange you get a similar sound to the bb3 that way
