best advice is to play on a hardwired connection (ethernet cord from your router), other than that it's all dependent on your area and the servers you are connecting to, a lot of the central servers are pretty laggy from about 10am-2am, so if you're still lagging in the really early morning lobbies you could call your ISP and see if there is an issue in your line
