Astonishing! Excellent work of both the actors and the crew! And YES, please make a sequel! This has potential! I want to say that I really appreciate your efforts, this channel's content is amazing! Thank you very much!
Blake, you always have that polished style, great camera work and excellent use of the lighting to shape the mood, but the most powerful element you use is the viewer's imagination.
It deserves a silver screen and a sequel. You left the door wide open, there are so many ways this can go. I love time travel. Blake I always say if you have excellent writing you don't need special effects. Got goose bumps at the end. My life won't be complete without a sequel. Missed not seeing your "not ready for prime time players".(quote from SNL)
This could very easily be a super good full length movie ! The open endings bug me a bit, but good writers, directors, actors, camera crew, music director, you've put a really good team together. That is apparent. I would have loved to see what happened and see more, for sure !
Very good in terms of writing the suspensive story, directing, casting, and site shooting. The more scientific elements, the better it will be for a next episode. Agree?
Another entertaining film. I really don't know how you maintain such high standards. Like most of your output it would make a superb series. You do seem to have an amazing pool of actors to draw from.
Ant Sharp- excellent! I first met Ant on the set of Witch in Hungary- he played the role of Edward- he was effortless and didn't over do any of his scenes. Really nice guy and very talented- which was evident on set. I really rate him as a film actor- he lives and breathes each character and totally natural- he's only going to get better. Follow and support this guy!
Blake! You really know how to keep us hanging! "Do you think this sci-fi deserves a sequel?" Ya think?! Bears and woods spring to mine. Seriously, though. That was really, really good. You're really surprising yourself, here. Don't forget us lowly fans when you are catapulted into Hollywood! 😁😁😏
👏🏻👏🏻 BRAVO! I was instantly sucked into the storyline, I was kept in suspense, this was a great film. Excellent to all! Director, actors and actresses And all the behind the scenes staff!
Not bad. I feel there could be a sequel to this film. I feel like there is so much more to explore in the world, that it would warrant a sequel. Especially with that bombshell at the end of the film. Definitely would watch a sequel if one was made
Wrapped-up in a Hazmat Suit, but the beard is exposed, and when he “opens” some (I presume) water, he exposes it to everything he is supposed to be protected from, before drinking it. The Hazmat Suit, at that point, is more of an imposition to the wearer’s mobility and perception, given that he is so exposed to the environment. If you are going to do Nuclear-Bio-Chem Modes of Protection (likely an outdated term) with an Environmental Protection Suit, then it needs to be hermetically sealed, with any water and food INSIDE the suit, with him.
How do you only have 50k subscribers? This is on par, if not better than Black Mirror vibes. I would love to see some zombie short films though. The beginning of a zombie outbreak is always my favorite :^]
This appears to be a sort concept test? Well, you got it down. That would explain the quick changes of situations, understanding and scenes. Do you have the wherewithal to create longer? Thanks
Not that it matters in a movie. In reality, facial hair, let alone a full beard, makes a gas mask unable to establish an airtight seal. The mask becomes basically useless.
@@BonannoCM Not true. In my time in the army we learned how to seal it sufficiently even with a full beard. It's tedious but possible, and maybe they don't teach that anymore these days. Of course you have to wear the mask correctly, not like this guy whose whole chin as exposed.
@@vladdracul5072 I too was in the military. The USA Navy to be precise. Anyone required to use a mask, or any other breathing device by reason of their duty role, had to be clean shaven. No exceptions. There are many things onboard ships that can kill you quick, or very slow years later, if they burn. Even masks used for mundane tasks like spray painting require a good seal. What you think is safe now with a beard, you will pay later in health problems down the road. Making movies? Probably not.
@@BonannoCM I've been a commercial sailor for 22 years after my service in the army and I'm practiced in the use of a breathing apparatus which is kind of different from a gas mask as it generally just needs to supply the wearer with air while firefighting. In the army the instructors told those wearing a beard to grease it when wearing a simple gas mask in order to seal it. Not the perfect solution but it works in a pinch.
I'm always watching for continuity issues when I watch something. Right at the beginning, I see some. The guys is covered up in a hazmat suit to keep from being contaminated, but not only can you see clearly into the gap of his suit, around his mask, but you can see his beard from under the mask, so basically the hazmat suit is useless.
Wow, Blake that was incredible, great job. Would love to see more... Turn in to a full movie or even in a like TV series. Thank you your super talented and sharing with us Thank you 🙏🙏
Very good. There were enough comments leading to other questions that were never answered to keep you wanting more. Origins? Who were the people in the zone originally? How did they get there? Even why hit him with your hand instead of a frying pan? A sequel would be excellent.
If you need a full face dust mask(gas masks and gas mask props aren't really that expensive so idk why you used a dust mask) then you shouldn't be drinking from an open bottle. You should use a in built drinking system.
@@BlakeRidder That doesn't help me. Seems it would complicate their danger to us, since striking our flesh with theirs would cause the same problem. Plus the physics. How could they not be hurt by a frying pan to the head, but yes by a fist in the same place. Just seems too "ex-machina" a rule.
Air Filter face mask with a beard was a bad idea, this is why the military makes soldiers shave everyday, so they can get a good seal on their mask. The story was pretty good but moved along a bit slow. In a full movie that would work but in a short clip to get attention, you might want to get to the interesting part sooner.
FYI - Hazmat masks don't work if you have a full beard. And how did it get to be night? Shouldn't day and night inside the zone last 15 years since the actual Sun is outside the region where time passes faster?

yes i do... love the over all idea ... and its not bad that the female lead is a real looker :) would really like to see where it goes..

Wow Blake! I definitely need a sequel. At first I thought this was going to be boring, but then? WOW!

That is so good. Great work man. Binge watching your channel now. I am writing my first short film and this is so much inspiration.
Literally just started doing the same. 🎉 cheers to you. 👽
Absolutely incredible. Outstanding writing, production, direction, cinematography just incredible 👍
Yeah, I'd watch more of this. Nice work, as always.
WOW!!!! I definately want to see a movie! Great concept!
Thanks Jeff. It would be an awesome world to go into.

This is a great pilot for a series! Please continue!
Was not expecting that from her. Kudos on this. Is there a part 2 or 3 in the works? Or even a movie?
Thanks. I hope to make a part 2 yes
As always, great job! Definitely needs a sequel.

That was great dude! When will it be continued? I need more!
Thanks. Hopefully early next year.
Absolutely brilliant really need to see more 👏 also well done anto with the acting mate 🙌
Thanks Shaun.

Incredible! Really love the effects and the tone of the film itself! Well done everyone 🤗
Thanks Peter
Yes I do think it deserves a sequel. It was very very good. In fact a full film would be even better!
Great stuff, looking forward to your next full length film
That would be The Manor. Thank you
Such a cliffhanger. We need part 2.
Dayum! What a cliffhanger! So much potential. Where's Netflix, when we need them?
Really enjoyed it hoping there is a continuation :P
RIP Doctor Watson, wait till Sherlock hears about this

A beard and respirator don't work. The wiskers prevent a seal. Other than that detail, well done.

Yeah, a sequel is a must
Ah yes, a true 21:9 format upload, thank you very much! 😁
I did that just for you
There's a enjoyable series in this, I likey!👏
Many ways this could go. Yes, definitely deserving of a sequel (or sequels) and I would put money down on Patreon for that.
That was pretty decent. Good story, good acting, and best of all, a good ending. Thanks. Thumbs up on the sequel......
Very nice 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Do another one 😁

Yes ! I have seen the "cliffhanger" before it happens ...but the movie is appealing and we want to see the following :)
Wow, we need more of this one!
Acting is superior to many Indie shorts. Nicely done!
deserves a series not just a sequel
Just Mindblowing and captivating

I don't think using an unsecured video mobile phone would be permitted. Just a secure walkie talkie.
