Dubplates, masters & mastering

Jason Goz of Transition Mastering explains the difference between dubplates and masters and what mastering is for the Bassweight dubstep documentary, with a live demonstration of how vinyl is cut.
I just thought this was an interesting & educational lil excerpt.

Cannot believe I have only just found this after all these years!!! Big up the Jason! Got so many D&B dubs cut there between 99 and 04, but sadly I only have a few left now. Good to see he finally fixed the auto run out groove lever in the end. The amount of times he used that spray can was legendary!
