Hi I appreciate that you make it clear its Vietnamese food. Theres another Cambodian channel which just keeps silent and say thanks when people thought they are Cambodian food.

You know, you can’t really blame them. Because Vietnamese people are the ones who brought it into Cambodia. In the 70´s there was a lot of viets coming into Cambodia and automatically were selling their food. (Just like in the video you can hear the women speaking in viet, she’s viet) Thats how it became famous and Cambodian people started to make it according to their taste. The most famous one we eat in cambodia are banh xeo, banh hoi, bo bun(we call banh sung) and more.. so yeah.. just to say that if your people haven’t brought it, we also wouldn’t be eating it today 😂 and yeah a lot of cambodians just call them cambodian because it became a normal thing. Just like american people eat spaghetti i guess 🤷🏽 it’s from Italy but they readjust it at their taste.

@@PurpleFlower22 the Cambodian make Chinese, Thai, Laos and other dishes and sell on the street.. not only Vnese food. Ok? Lots of people have commented when they realized that. Moreover I have seen the Cambodians who sell them use Vnese names for those food.. only the youtuber use English names and put the title as Cambodian street food..You shud read the cmt of a Cambodian above as well.
