I just discovered this song recently. It conveys different emotions for me. At first I felt sad, but after listening to it for awhile, it's bitter sweet. The song didn't make me sad for myself, but it made me feel sad for the new generation of children, those born maybe post 2000s, but definitely those born in the 2010s and 2020s. I remember growing up in the late 80s and early 90s, and these were the happiest times of my life. So much great music and movies, but mostly the memories of making friends and playing outside and getting into trouble. These days when I go outside, I barely see kids playing anymore. They're all locked up inside like cage rats, and parents are overly protective, and they spend too much time staring at a screen. My own nephew is like this and he's very socially awkward and stays in his room all the time and has few friends. This song makes me think a child who is missing out on life, he has parents who love him, but he's in his room too much. I wish sometimes we could get rid of the internet and go back to the days we would socialize and when kids and teenagers hung out at the mall. Things are too convenient, I remember using the yellowpages to find different stores and having to use a map to chart where we'd go. Getting lost was an adventure in itself. To those reading, just know it's never too late.
this reminds me of losing my grandma.. and my uncle from diabetes.. i still feel so bad they died and i think of them sometimes and cry endlessly..

I found this song when I was in 6th or 7th grade. I was really shy and terrible at making friends. I'm still not over it.. but I've become better at talking to people. I'm still not over my fear of talking to people, but I feel like I'm improving. I can at least say a couple of sentences without stuttering that much. I still mumble and talk low.
And I used to cry myself to sleep every night since 3-7th grade, because hated how shy I was. I was always looked at as the weird kid and the 'quiet' kid. I just had really bad social phobia. In 3rd grade, I met this girl, I loved her so much, she was my best friend. I was so scared of losing her and maybe even never have a best friend ever again, so I never told her how I felt. She had always been a little weird, starting 5-7th grade. She was a bit more distant, so I assumed she didn't like me, I didn't bother her or anything anymore but I just let her come to me when she wanted too. I didn't want to be too obsessive and clingy, and permanently scare her off. So I just dealt with it, I haven't found a true best friend yet.. I'm going to 9th grade, I still cry sometimes but not as much, this was my comfort song. I've never really found a best friend that would actually stick around with me, that girl was the closest to it, but the relationship we had, never felt real.
Finally I found it I had to use the music search 3 times for it to finally work
I remember my first ex, I made a remix of this song after we broke up, It went
