I'm learning more from your short lessons than I have in a very long time. Very well described, thank you!

Hi Stephane, I am very pleased to watch your program. There is always some element of interest in learning from you in acoustics. Infact, I have already learnt Diatonic scales Major ,Minor and Pentatonic scales including Blues scales for the last 1 year 10 months. But still I am impressed with your videos as to enrich my playing skill in acoustic where I only play acoustic.

Um, using major seventh ascending and minor seventh descending is Melodic Minor, not Aeolian (the natural minor scale), unless I have misunderstood what the gentleman is saying. To be fair it may be a language miscommunication. Thank you.

Great idea, make a video and show us. I notice that you have zero videos on your channel. If you have serious skills, please share them. More info is better.

Rick McCargar Rick, you misunderstood me, I was asking for clarification as he said, we will use the natural minor scale, NOT melodic or harmonic, and yet his example clearly referenced melodic minor. I don’t doubt his bona fides, but perhaps language is a slight barrier to getting his message across, (I can only admire his English, because it is a lot better than my ability to speak a foreign tongue) and I was trying to understand his point, in case I misunderstood him. Have a good one, mate.

This was my thought exactly! I was like would that not be Melodic Minor lol
