The way Jagex bans players for botting is by comparing keyboard/mouse inputs to what's happening in the game. This is easily avoided and common knowledge, meaning if somebody had the skills to hack your account they wouldn't be dumb enough to forget to use a proxy server. Nobody hacked your account, you tried botting and didn't know to use a proxy server so you got instantly banned for it.
and yet my alt, that hasn't been hack, nor botted was randomly banned a few months ago when it hadn't even been logged into for nearly 6 months... Fenryrulfr for reference.
The banning system is completely automated and the appeal system is completely automated as well. There's so real human eyes on the entire process. @@Joe-m8w1f

If your accounts are all compromised on your jagex account that means someone else has access to the email you used for it and can access the jagex account on another pc. Change your email password and apply 2 factor auth on it.
Theres a good chance the account wasn't hacked. I made an account 2 weeks ago and had everything secure. I still end up getting a Macroing Major ban when I played the game 100% legit.
is it possible that when you got your new pc, jagex saw that a well known account was logged into from a new launcher, new ip and (consequently bc new ip) new location and insta-banned thinking you got hacked?
i don't think so, my friend has the same issue. it's just a trash launcher with horrible security, he probably got hacked, hasn't gotten back to me on whether or not he successfully got it back
A lot of people use VPN's so Jagex doesn't really care what IP you sign in from. All they care about is what your keyboard and mouse are doing. If your inputs don't match up to what's happening in the game, you get banned for botting.

@@Joe-m8w1f I wasn’t even playing the game when I got banned man I had been working for months straight, came back to the game, and was banned. The only thing I can think is I got hacked and someone botted on the account
stop playing runescape, jagex is only gonna get worse and worse. It should have died ages ago. I got hacked and password changed on my account and their only solution was "download the jagex launcher" They're completely worthless as a company and its just a ridiculous obscenely large time sink
I’m honestly thinking about it. I’ve only played about 2 years so I’m not crazy deep into it and your right it’s a massive time sink. Appreciate the comment
@@Dudewatsup The account cheated, u didn't get banned across accounts did you? it was only the account that cheated that was banned no? In the end, you are responsible for what happens to your account. If not, people could just share account with friends and have them bot agility for you, then when it gets banned you just say "Got hacked". Dosen't work that way, it's unfortunate, but you dont get hacked without beeing uncarefull

Is there a good way to get in touch with a real person at runescape now that they've banned bot appeals on reddit?
Falsely banned on a main. Only things I can think of that triggered it was a laptop mousepad and the massive xp drops of making Wine.

I would put 2FA on your email and Jagex account asap.. Jagex account security is shit and so is their customer support.
