When the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him: ‘Who art thou?’
And he confessed and denied not; and said plainly: ‘I am not the Christ.’

I have enjoyed the choir’s recording with Daniel from the early part of this century, but this really is a lovely recording by an excellent Counter Tenor. Thank you as always. With best wishes to all.

I find it admirable, how much you appreciate and practice the tradition of the English boy's choir. Your sound is truly great, with volume and precision. Actually, there aren't that many college or cathedral choirs in England that consist of men and boys only, anymore. Either they mix with girls or, if they have a boy treble line, the alto part is sung by women. That's really concerning, because the all-male choir seems to die out. Ironically, foreigners seem to be aware of the value of the English all-male choir more than the English people are themselves, who cease a tradition of many hundreds of years from one moment to the other without even blinking and celebrating this as a historic step, which it is indeed, but to the worse.
Therefore, be proud that you keep up this precious tradition, against the trends.
