I am sitting here with a huge grin (ok,ok, and a few tears). Now I am laughing!🤣 I can't believe what I just heard!!! Seriously?! "That's me they're talking about!" I am so excited, because you gotta know how much I love your show and you two (or one) in it. I would be so greatful to receive your generous gift. That's awesome your going to help Buddy out. For future park mail calls , Christine should wear a big net (head to Toe) since she's so tasty..Must be those cupcakes!!
You both are great people, always trying to help someone else in need. Love the mountains where you live, we don't have those here in Wisconsin where I live. That metal detector reminds me of The Bounty Hunter metal detector that I used to own, it was a great coin hunter. Christine sure likes her sweets, cupcakes, and cookies! Happy hunting!
The mosquitos were I live, I know wait for me to come outside. As soon as I walk out at least one is attacking me. I feel for Christine. Great video! ♥️😁
Just a thought......see if you can acquire or borrow one of those detectors from the 70s or 80s,and do a comparison. New v old. We`ve been spoilt with a number of vids in the last few days...much appreciated. Good video with good smiley people.
Thank you Scott.... I had a great career and feel blessed. Never thought we would get monetized and since we do get a little money from this channel, we love giving back since we are really doing this for fun and not the green stuff. We appreciated your comment...it means a lot to us!
You guys need to get some citronella candles and light them around you. Lol. That'll help with the mosquitoes. Unfortunately when you're Outdoors you're just kind of on their turf. Love your orange creamsicle shoes christine. It's nice of you guys to help that dude out that lost his metal detector. You two have a fantastic weekend and be safe out there.
Yeah, there is a small breed of mosquito invasion in California called Aedes also know as ankle bitters. They are aggressive and even come out during the day.... When at my brothers for BBQs he turns on these fans because they can't fly in the wind and leave us alone. I was standing directly over a citronella candle once and got bit so they do not always work. But better than nothing. Thank you and have a great weekend
@@DigginSoCal yeah I guess bugs are becoming impervious to anything we throw at them anymore. They just learned to adapt to things and go right around it.
Glad you found the free metal detector I sent you over a year ago !! LOL just kidding-- but yes hope you can give it to the guy with the salt problem. Looks like he and his detector were BOTH assaulted !!
The mountains in the background are so pretty. Wait...was that a peacock that just strutted by? Christine try putting drier sheets in your pockets to help keep the mosquitoes away. 😊
The San Gabriel mountains are a nice backdrop... but did you see the trains...lol. I am addicted to watching trains. Oh and yes, Peacocks are all over this area. They will walk out into the road and stop traffic. Good idea about the sheets. interesting
Good video. I just unboxed mine and I usually try looking on RUclips before having to open the directions and having to read everything. I don't see how you could have something so cool in your house and not even know where it came from! LOL you're a metal detector-detector!
Still making me laugh...😄 Nice video. I was kind of hoping to see the train again. Hope the gentleman responds back. Thanks for sharing another good video. Happy hunting. 🙂

I used to work on a worm 🪱 farm. I called myself a worm wrangler. I made my apron with a worm 🪱 wrangler on it. I had my own miniature worm 🪱 farm in two empty cat litter boxes. I say "had" because someone stole it two weeks ago out of my unlocked truck while in the pharmacy. I had to stop there to pick up my cancer meds on my way to scan a new kiddie park I found a few days ago. I am sure gonna miss metal detecting because as a cancer patient with terminal throat and esophageal cancer, I simply can,t afford to replace it on my tiny disability check. Still got my pinpointer so I been trying to use just that alone to search under porches and playground equipment!1 it works pretty good for shallow items. Been detecting for 15 or so years so I guess it's in my blood and I already miss it. Sure is a sinking and empty feeling in the pit of your stomach to learn you just been robbed!! Not a nice feeling at all. Well I just wanted to say Hi and let you know I still watch ALL of you guys videos and now I kinda fentasize in my head that I'm there scanning with you guys everytime I watch a new episode. Just a FYI I was locating in San Diego and a couple came up to me and asked if I could find his wedding ring he lost yesterday, so they prayed at dinner that it could be found and when they saw me they asked a I told them sure, well 5 min later I found it and she had such a big smile. She wanted to pay me but no way could I take their money, just married 1 year ago. It felt good to help them out.
So while I was in Big 5 Sporting Goods the other day buying BB's I noticed that they have two different types of basically store brand metal detectors you might want to check out also on the 24th and I think also the 25th of September at the Fullerton transportation Center they will be bringing in and operational steam locomotive from Los Angeles and it will be on display for one or two days so you might want to check that out.
Have the machine sent back to Garrett they will repair it. My Garrett ace 350 quit working and I sent it back cost me around $75.00 for repair (put in a new control panel)
I have a clue on the Original Box shipping was from Amazon . You can see the yellow code sticker on the box part of the Amazon Delivery system . Just Sayin

I love the Frank version best. Got into Frank back in high school. My friend's dad let us always borrow his car and he had a tape deck in it. He had it rigged so we couldn't eject out the tape or just use the radio. So we had to either hear no music or whatever he had in it. You never knew if it was going to be Frank, Deano, or Torme or just some other crooner. He taught me alot about great music though.
how are you guys finding the deus 2, i was thinking of upgrading from my equinox 800 to to it, but now really looking at the manticore as a replacement.
I’m on a waiting list for the manticore. To be honest, for what we do… I will use my Nox 99% of the time vs the Deus. Still wanna try it in an older loc for deep targets
I don't hoard. I have a friend that does and he has a garage full of stuff he has never even opened. I would hope that I would remember buying a detector...lol. I am guilty of hoarding my finds....
Haaa guys .I feel like I there with you . Well im not to good at what brand is a good metal detector.. my 7yr old alisandro is allways watching your vidéos he wants one . Eveytime I babysit him he wants popcorn and coke and want to see find items .he also likes to tell me to guess what you ing . He went to corpus south padre iland and he wanted to look for stuff with a métal detector but I told him I don't have one . But he did find someone there detecting and he was asking questions . Well I going to babysit today ând we will be wathing you to see what you find. Well you both keep up to work and make more vidéos. I guess if I can I will think of something from here to Christmas. Well see you in youtub you have a great day. Ps thank you for making my alisandro happy watching you vidéos.
Christine you and Bill need to come to southern Illinois yes I mean Southern Illinois not Chicago so Christine can face her fears of bugs! One week camping here and you will be cured especially for Mosquitoes! One evening of metal detecting and you will have so many mosquito bites your arms will look like Popeye not to mention the several types of ticks.
Bill is the Michael Jackson of metal detecting!!!! Michael Jackson would have entourage of lackey's that would accompany him on his shopping sprees... Michael would point out furniture and all the lamps and other ephemera that he wanted...He would point out furniture and stuff and say: " I want this," and that as he passed by beautiful things and his lackey's would list his picks on the note pad he carried... After the shopping list had been finished the manager of the store would be paid thousands of dollars ...Then, all of Michaels picks were boxed up and loaded up on a truck and shipped to a big warehouse where the articles were carefully stored.... Michael never saw that stuff again....😞💔 Too bad cupcakes weren't his addiction 🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🍿
Interesting MJ trivia... I have a buddy who has a garage full of unopened items he has bought over the years... I am not like that... I am so puzzled about this detector?????
Bill and Christine that is so kind of you! I’m gonna tell… everyone how sweet you two are. Lol. That guy deserves a hand and you are there. Bravo.
Thanks Philip... we enjoy helping others and we know you are like minded. Thank you for that as well!!!

Hello Wisconsin! Still have the bounty Hunter and my wife crushes it with that thing. Cheers!
What a wonderful surprise.
Hi guys, that was nice of you to offer to give that guy the machine you were using. A very nice gesture very thoughtful. Take care.
Thank you. We are happy to help!!!
Great job on offering the detector to someone in need. Keep the hobby going!! Oh Christine you support university of Texas with those orange shoes!!

These little guys are real aggressive and known as ankle bitters.... so fast. Thanks
Little mosquito tip I learned recently. If you rub hand sanitizer on the bites as soon as you get bit the bites practically go away and stop itching!
Oh ok...great info...thank you
Another great video again by my number one favourite RUclipsrs ever
Thanks James... we can def count on you!!!
At 19:20 , the song is Last Dance, by Donna Summer. Good video Guy's, keep it up.
Aw... thanks for the info. I am horrible with names.... Christine usually gets them
Good luck with your hunt to find that detectorist! ACE plus saltwater does equal a new detector 😢 for sure! ⛏️⛏️⛏️
Thanks... Hopefully he reaches out. That was a real bummer and we hope he is ok because a detector can be replaced.
Enjoyed the video that detector works pretty good it was definitely picking up targets thanks for sharing take care and be safe 🇺🇸🤘🤙💯😎

Wow, thanks for sharing... Tell Alisandro that Bill and Christine says HI.
What Dectector?
Christine you and Bill need to come to southern Illinois yes I mean Southern Illinois not Chicago so Christine can face her fears of bugs! One week camping here and you will be cured especially for Mosquitoes! One evening of metal detecting and you will have so many mosquito bites your arms will look like Popeye not to mention the several types of ticks.
Where do we find a mailing address for you?
Email me at bill@digginsocal.com
The bugs love you because your pores are oozing sugar from all the sweets you love! 🧁 😂
Every time you find a penny I want to say
"See a penny pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck."
Oh yeah... I am always scouting the ground even when out walking. That saying along with not stepping on a crack were terms we grew up with...
Now it’s time to say goodbye to all our company, that’s the Mickey Mouse song. MIC, see you real soon, KEY, why because we like you. Mouse
Bill you can put your 2 cents in
LOL... You should see the container I have of damaged coins (mostly pennies) from the elements.
❤🤣😊
That is too weird for it to just show up , and you guys are just gonna make the best out of it ,,
ANTS ANTS
Turkeys was them turkeys??
Right... I have been racking my brain and I know I did not buy it even though C is convinced I did. Strange.
that looks like a Garrett clone. Never heard of the brand
I have not heard of it before either... the head is shaped like a Garrett but it has a very simple control head.
Daniel is just my online persona. Charles is my true name
I really want a metal detector my birthday is coming up on September 25th
Frank Sinatra sang that and it's been covered by many others, including Elvis.
I Did It My Way is the name of the tune.
@@drakemiller2617 Thanks for the info... I am surprised C did not know that because she watches so many old movies....
