So, as GraphQL is a language for an API, Apollo is an API for a language for an API? That is a bit abstract isn't it? Why didn't you give any actual example of what it does vs 'naked' gQL? After watching this vid I still don't know what it does.

Apollo provides and a system to use GraphQL on both the client OR the server side. You can use it to simply connect to an existing GraphQL endpoint, create your own GraphQL endpoint, OR both.
