    On my part, the only reason to watch Pakistan matches from the 90s and 2000s is to watch Shoaib Akhtar's insane bowling!! There is a different thrill in watching aggression and arrogance backed by skill and hardwork. Jiyo Shoaib!! ❤️🇮🇳

    I always enjoyed the partnerships between Sami and Shoaib, and also Abdul Razzaq and Azhar. Didnt last long but it was fun, Ive wanted to watch this full match for ages. Tresco and Flintoff did well too mashaAllah

    Abdul Razzaq most underrated Allrounder of Pakistan
    He is a fantastic reverse swing bowler of old ball then he's a killer for batsman

    Shoaib and Sami clicking 95 Mph as if its an average speed for them. Now a days any bowler reaching 90 Mph is considered FAST. Pakistani fast bowling has down graded big time.

      @@satyamjha7790 you can’t deny that Shoaib was a legend with Asif and Sami being very promising in those days if not legend ( because of the amount of cricket they missed out on due to several reasons). The fact that Indian batters hammered them is somewhat because of their brilliance with the willow and not just because the bowling was crap. It’s always interesting to see a good contest between bat and ball with both parties having their own moment of success

      @@arslaanpasha3334 buddy l would highly request you to go watch their bowling actions again ,and if you want l can send you the links to show you what bowling actions they had in the beginning of their careers and how much it changed at the end of their career.
      Also, shane bond only played for l think 7 or 8 years. If he had played for as long as Anderson, his bowling actions would have been slightly different.
      Mcgrath and Waqar played for atleast 11 years or more. So yeah go watch their debut matches and their last match and then tell me

    Seeing England batsmen hopping and popping to Sami and Akhtar increases the respect for Sachin even more, how blissfully he used to straight drive and cover drive some of the fastest bowlers ever to play this game. Although he got out also to them but the day he used to be on top he would smack them with proper cricket shots all over the ground.

      To be fair Tendulkar faced these bowlers in India or pk on flat track wickets. A fair contest would be in Australia england and south Africa. Not taking anything awsy from him he indeed was a class batsman

      @@amjadfarooq8063 Tendulkar has faced Wasim, Shoaib and Waqar in Aus and SA and has performed well enough. The 98 in WC 2003 was made in South Africa. Another good innings was the 93 Tendulkar made in Hobart in 1999 against Wasim, Waqar and Shoaib.

      @@hbk425 I'm not denying tendulkars skill a great batsman no doubt. I am referring to test matches , where it is equal playing field. ODis again are batsman friendly. Small boundry's big bats power play. There is no slip cordon to test the players. That said I'm not saying Tendulkar would fail all I'm saying is it would be a fairer contest.

    Shoib`s bowling was so quick that even a inside edge would run away as 4 and the wicket keeper had trouble catching the balls also. He was too good at bowling.

    Its a shame that none of the IPL teams selected Marcus Trescothick the former English cricket legend whereas he could have easily played between 3 to 6 th seasons of the T20 tournament.

    10th over was a wicket-maiden (“manda”) and was very low-scoring (just 29). Probably one of those fixed matches thanks to Munawar and Co.

    One cricket BALL should be used in ODIs to revive reverse swing and ultimately help create balance between BAT and BALL. These days it's only a batsmen's game. This game was a prime example as how to how thrilling ODIs can be.
