To be fair lack of engaging League content and being a new Genshin player will do that but I still find it both hilarious and refreshing to see someone genuinely excited.
They also usually complain about the voice actor livestreams being cringe. It’s always nice to have another creator that isn’t incredibly jaded while being paid to play video games for a living.
i just see the primos and mora and get exited lmao... most youtubers paying for everything takes out the accomplishment aspect of the game, true getting who you want and everything is great, but as a f2p working over multiple versions for that character just hits different...

I'm just a normal guy with a life who just enjoy games in general, Genshin constantly adding events and stories each patch it's hard to not go back to it. I could play 10 other games then go back to Genshin a month later and there will be more stuff to enjoy be it new events, new stories, new fanmade content, new areas. It's crazy they are able to pull it off every 6 weeks. Like HOW??? Are the devs even human???

What i think, Genshin used their pre-release time to make a roadmap for future update because Genshin is already teased in 2017 and then release on 2020

it many content seriously, content creator in my country have a content like balance stat/artifact from random chat UIDs or who want to donation for guide them exclusive case, have a theorycrafter calculation rotation for speedrun player/serious player. that why hardcore gameplay they gonna hate HYV after their dev said no more endgame content(in this time). but still no endgame no problem, the game still alive with casual player(casual player still huge % than hardcore player) with their fanbase is crazy too , you can see in twitch live number viewer in live version program and dont forget this, this isnt a major patch like new region the number of viewer can grow much than.
This is why i like necrit because he loves lore and a true gamer while zepla is addicted and inlove to male characters 😂 but i like the way she's on to the game.

with your comment on fomo I totally agree. genshin feeds off of fomo. however thats on the player to decide if they give in to that. players need to just know when to let go. which I must admit is hard and was hard for me to do, but I have found once that fomo was removed for me, I actually enjoy genshin more because there is alot of events! And thus through reviving, she may finally have the chance if not guaranteed to be playable.
Nahida is absolutely ridiculous. Hands down one of the best and most useful units in the game. Dendro is fantastic with almost any combination and Nahida has BY FAAAAAR the best Dendro application in the game, both in terms or range, duration and CDs. The fact that it interconnects between enemies makes it even more ridiculous. Shes no just "the best dendro sub", she orders of magnitude better than the second best. Nahida alone almost trippled my damage when I got her. Her ability to pick up materials from a distance is also a really nice quality of life beneft. I strongly advice you to roll for her if you have to gems. And of course, shes god damn adorable.
yeah she is the most broken char for AOE its not even funny... i have C4R1 Nahida with her weapon since her released and i murdered every single floors on abyss, even floor 12 barely took 20s on chambers she's on.

I can understand him honestly. After WoW Shadowlands I started to play Genshin and I was shocked with amount of content and how often Hoyo release patches. In Shadowlands we waited for 8 months between patches and the expansion itself was just awful. Necrit just compares it to LoL and no surprise he feels the same.
Yeah I was amazed too and even felt refreshed when I had my first special program in genshin (3.0). Back when all we had in league "events" were new skins and battlepass it was mind-blowing to see a game get big event update plus the fact that it happens regularly? Riot could never. Right now these streams are around 30-40mins, but the 3.0 and 3.1 ones were an HOUR of good stuff (most of the 3.0 good stuff was already talked about in other drip marketing Hahaha but the 3.1 one was nothing but top notch hype)

So it'd be like getting 2 mini games per regular League patch.
the trial characters are fun. Are they optimally build? no probably not, but some of them like Yelan, Nahida or Nilou just allow you to play compositions you can't without them. It's fun to try new things, especially for someone like me, who only pulls on characters they want while actually saving for Dainsleif, so my character pool is limited. Getting the opportunity to try these characters has great value to me
I prefer to see the other VAs reaction to Cyno's VA telling his jokes or the best part when Albedo's VA is present because it will be a chaotic yet amazing livestream
Compare it to the 1.1 english livestream. It had basically one person to summarize everything, and the poor woman got memed on, because she wasn't good at it, and the script was kinda cringy.
If he intends to quit free to play at some point really he should get the welkin moon pass sooner rather than later, by far the best value. 3000 gems for 5$. The next best rate is getting 100$ with top up bonus, and thats still only 630 gems pr 5$, it really is night and day. It only really feels predatory once you begin to buy the one time purchases from the store as their rates are really bad.

Players that dont want to stay f2p should Just count this game as a subscripton types of game and Just buy welkin. Well, those fameplay event for old players are not that exciting. We usually have the trial characters, so point in trying them out, and also, in lategame usually all of the characters are so strong, that putting on those given buffs are kind of a hassle.

Altho Lore events are cool, they r flawed in the fact that they are time gated, if u didnt play the event ull never get to experience it again, it happened to me with the "Scaramouche event" the one when they introduce him for the 1st time, so i never understood where the traveler knew this chara from till i watched it on a video later on.
The answer for league is because first and foremost league is competitive game, they focus attention to that genshin is casual game so casual stuff is 1st priority

Right now these streams are around 30-40mins, but the 3.0 and 3.1 ones were an HOUR of good stuff (most of the 3.0 good stuff was already talked about in other drip marketing Hahaha but the 3.1 one was nothing but top notch hype)
these kind of events are always fun for new players, but for 2 years old players like me and the others, it is hard to get excited from them and just another free primogems

"6 events in a patch". I'd like to point out, that patches are about every 6 weeks. So it'd be like getting 2 mini games per regular League patch.
This guy will lose it if we ever get a rerun of that event where they let you build your own domain and share it with others
W zhongli and scara are worth it
the trial characters are fun. Are they optimally build? no probably not, but some of them like Yelan, Nahida or Nilou just allow you to play compositions you can't without them. It's fun to try new things, especially for someone like me, who only pulls on characters they want while actually saving for Dainsleif, so my character pool is limited. Getting the opportunity to try these characters has great value to me
Actually, they revamped the trial characters a few patches ago, so they're actually semi-optimal compared to the actual meta builds.

I prefer to see the other VAs reaction to Cyno's VA telling his jokes or the best part when Albedo's VA is present because it will be a chaotic yet amazing livestream
Compare it to the 1.1 english livestream. It had basically one person to summarize everything, and the poor woman got memed on, because she wasn't good at it, and the script was kinda cringy.
If he intends to quit free to play at some point really he should get the welkin moon pass sooner rather than later, by far the best value. 3000 gems for 5$. The next best rate is getting 100$ with top up bonus, and thats still only 630 gems pr 5$, it really is night and day.
It only really feels predatory once you begin to buy the one time purchases from the store as their rates are really bad.
Yeah people count Genshin as predatory mainly because they get to the last Moment on buying primos for the characters they want.
Players that dont want to stay f2p should Just count this game as a subscripton types of game and Just buy welkin.
I have been playing from day 1 and up until now i only paid 60-70€ and i have most of the characters.

If anything go for the archon story quests first before the other characters

Well, those fameplay event for old players are not that exciting. We usually have the trial characters, so point in trying them out, and also, in lategame usually all of the characters are so strong, that putting on those given buffs are kind of a hassle.
Nahida, Zhongli and venti all have dragons, mean while Ei have a furry.

You dont need to pay to roll Nahida… She is one of the best characters at this time.

Wlcm to genshin. I quit league as 2.5mil OTP Lux, just bcz they didn't give her ASU, I'm playing genshin now and I don't plan to come bck untill Lux gets her ASU.
Tbf lux itself already quite fine on her own both her kit and model. There are way more characters in dire need of ASU than lux

Altho Lore events are cool, they r flawed in the fact that they are time gated, if u didnt play the event ull never get to experience it again, it happened to me with the "Scaramouche event" the one when they introduce him for the 1st time, so i never understood where the traveler knew this chara from till i watched it on a video later on.
Actually if you havent done the first event the traveler will not recognize scaramouche in inazuma
The answer for league is because first and foremost league is competitive game, they focus attention to that genshin is casual game so casual stuff is 1st priority
