I can consider myself as a trait/mut hunter and yeah it's tedious and frustrating process to get mush/species. But I really like it. It's because of selling my slots that I was able to buy 2 role limited species, more specific Owa'stryrus and Etheralotus. And now I'm half way to get the average of mush to buy Sigmatox species! And I'd like to see you talking about the skin makers! I think it's an interesting way to get mush as well
@@pudzanchik It is, I've tested many times and it's completely true, even the abandoned eggs give you two guaranteed traits Note, if your nested creature dies and you restart it, you lose the capability of getting two traits
Not guaranteed. I have hatched creatures that grew to only have 1 trait, even spawning back in doesn't give it another trait. It isn't guaranteed, but the chance of getting double traits from a nested slot is much, much higher than growing a creature normally.
It's possible to have 4 mutations on a slot, if you use a plushie mutation like clownfish, get shimmer, get shadow, then clownfish at 100, then glimmer with a token. Thats 4 mutations, plus any traits Edit: guess I was wrong oops
there are a maximum of three mutations per slot, and one slot is reserved for glimmer getting four mutations on a slot is rendered impossible by this cap
I'm a trait/mut hunter myself and let me just say it is incredibly long, hard, and tedious work. It can take months to get certain traits and mutations and If you aren't a super hardcore player/ get bored easily I would not recommend it. I'm personally grinding for a specific mut/trait (leucism double reds) myself and if you get into it you usually end up spending more money than you make just to buy your own favorite muts... however it is incredibly profitable and you can sell some mutations for insane prices, but be prepared to spend not only hours grinding, but hours in trade area looking for someone to buy, as the market is quite oversaturated and it can be hard to find people looking for your slots. I personally am in love with the grind so I enjoy every second of it and it is incredibly rewarding to finally get something you've been looking for! lovely vid btw
Best thing to do to get certain traits is nesting a friend then them age up, also out of red traits bite and damage and the most looked for but some may find interest in a weight trait creature if it is a creature with grab
I trait farm for myself a lot but idm taking the occasional commission Especially since I’m only one of 2 of people in my friend group with 4/6 role exclusives, the other being a contributor so they rich af anyway 😔
Some muts have special materials that aren't available to the creature, like shiny muts (Fools Gold, Emerald, Pearl, Sapphire, Diamond, Coal Chunk), even Overgrown. Then also the customizable muts like glimmer, shimmer, glowtail. Plus those muts are rare and people like to have creatures that stand out
Should i Use egg+Octrama or egg/octrama+a mutation plushie? Egg increses the nesting speed and octrama double the mut chance, but grating a new reward for the mut list(not elemental, that shit is ugly as heck and has 0 value) could be better, tho im not sure...
you could probably auction it for a lot !! post it with a low starting bid so people will offer while also not putting an autobuy so it doesn't end too quickly
Not anything like 300 mush max. Most people actually do not want their spec to have glimmer and melanism is common as hell. Also 1 red trait is practically worthless.
Mark my words Values rise and fall depend on the rarity. Pie chomper and Pig lantern for examples were very hard to get in 2023 so not everyone had those good plushies with high demand, becuz of that sellers wanted to make profit so they sold them for high prices. But in 2024 halloween and harvest event, those plushies came back and were easier to get. That's why their values are low for now. But no worries the values will only rise again before next events in 2025 , so i recommend you to buy them now

Got a glowtail female sha'rei, trying to get a bite + damage trait and glimmer it so that I can auction it
I've been looking to sell my double red (weight and bite I think) trait galyrin these past two weeks.
Is there a way to encourage obtaining a specific trait?
i can confirm you will get rich via trait farming, as i blew 20k on a bite+dmg aer 😔
💀
Isnt there a healing trait for healers though?
So that’s why I tried to sell my shadow mekmek but nobody wants it (btw it was also fully grown)

I would recommend egg+octroma for nesting the slots, but growing them Aerix+octroma is a lifesaver, especially if you also use migration regions
