It seems that each generation of kids defines its own music language. And that’s one way they get to cut the proverbial apron strings…..it’s part of the natural development of their self-identity.
I remember when I was growing up in the 1950s, I just couldn’t get into big band, or swing, or the crooners either. Couldn’t be bothered. It was rock & roll all the way! Our parents said rock & roll would never last!
And, uh, they may have been partially correct, LOL. But in some really important way, the very soul and craft of rock & roll has managed to infiltrate cultures everywhere…and nearly every genre of music!

I've said it before and would like to say it again. Joe is becoming the complete musician. It''s no longer about good guitar solos only, but the complete presentation and the result is beautiful. What a nice rendition. Worth the ticket price of entry any day of the week.

I’ve always thought that Joe was, and is, *the complete musician* ….at least in his work spanning the past two decades. People can and do grow, and each step of the way has its own charm. And each has its own value. And each is done by the musician.
Although I do pay strict attention to his solos, they are not necessarily the driving force behind my enjoyment, as opposed to other aspects of performance. But the presentation as a whole has always been paramount to my pleasure.
Through the years, I’ve often wondered why people continually grade Joe on his work, almost like a pep talk, rather than just saying how they were positively affected by it, or inspired by it, or how much they enjoyed it, or how it fit into their lives. Many do, but others do not.
When is a musician finally “good enough”? When does he or she finally “measure up”? From the moment they capture people’s hearts and souls. That’s when!
And Joe has been doing that for a good long time!
His albums were always complete works.

Joe is always great, but this song really featured how far he’s come. Not an easy song vocally, but he sailed right through it. His guitar work was awesome (as usual), and the whole production was impressive. Love how he keeps reinvesting in his product. We fans really are lucky!!

I saw this show at Red Rocks and was really impressed with the drummer's ability to generate such huge energy that kept it all together. Of course, Joe was incredible as always. He always brings it with full commitment. Respect!

A fantastic rendition - vocals by Joe, Mahalia, Jade and Dannielle, guitar solo (out of this world sound for the thinline Telecaster with the B-bender...), drumming (hats off to Lemar Carter !) and, last but not least, Reese, the ultimate keyboardist - of THE SONG.

This whole Band is f.. genius! Saw these guys yesterday live. Completely nailed it and soundwise one of best concerts i´ve ever seen in 30+ Years. Absolutely fantastic. If you get the chance to see Joe and this Band live, go !! highly recommend it ;)

I am happy Joe has found Lemar who is another incredible brilliant drummer with so much energy... my 4th Joe concert is 19 days away now... damn.. I can't wait :)
The thing I like is that this concert happened at about the same time Meatloaf was doing his Bat out of Hell tours and for a very few lucky fans both J B's and Meatloaf's concert shows had discounted tickets for nights when both were in the same general part of the country 😊😅😊😅

Well Joe ..I've punched alot of those Time clocks in my life. I'm from Syracuse I was Lucky enough to catch you rehearsal at downstairs from guitar shop in Utica I was in the store talking to your father. Dave purchased a Les Paul for a very fair price. Your dad gave me a copy of your Hot licks VHS! So..I Let a friend borrow it and..of course he says now cannot find it. This is a GREAT SONG. I REALLY DIG this tone. THANK YOU man.

The title riff is witty, the solo, as you might expect, epic. Blues-rock ballad and Bonamassa, what else can there be a solo? Only epic! Learned by the great B.B. King , I've watched Joe rise up and he's doing great!! His concerts are wonderful and great sounding and not out of tune nor his voice. Everything is authentic.

We sat close and he saw you doing an interview before the show. His favorite album is time clocks and we did not know you were going to film it. Your music is your gift and you put your soul into it. When i saw this great musician at Royal Albert Hall in London 2009 i knew he is a special one. Every year he is better and better, his voice, guitar sound and leadership of the band.. in a word a Genius.. I definitely will book next summer tour..

Just got my combo CD/BluRay set I pre-ordered a while ago and immediately popped it in my disc player, did the setup to 5.1 audio and got my system all set up . . .poured a tall cold one and got comfy. Let me say that the engineering of this recording is truly world class. The sensation of being completely immersed in the sonic experienced is well . . . .amazing! I'll be running this one several times to be totally dazzled over and over with Joe and this terrific ensemble of superbly talented musicians and vocalists! THANK YOU to ALL the team for the massive efforts and delivering a certainly memorable performance!!
