Coincidentally a very similar situation to the Brandon smith situation happened in union. 2013 English premiership final Dylan Hartley (who was the captain) called the ref “a fucking cheat” and got sent off. Was about the 6th or 7th minute and saints never recovered, lost the match and the final. Hartley got suspended for 11 weeks and lost his spot in the England squad. League is very far behind union in terms of respect for referees.
I agreed at first boys with Hunt at 6 but now I’m glad we went with Dearden at 6 and Hunt at 9 I obviously predicted beforehand Hunt will stand up and if he does we win last night was an example of Hunt being on fire we won but how about Dearden like far out one of the best origin debuts I’ve seen he was in there all the time and had a try assist or 2 very glad Billy made that move and yeah I picked Carrigan for man of the series but forgot to put a bet on it sadly.
I think Qld are a really good chance tonight NSW fans should be nervous. Asides from history being on their side and a burning need to bounce back after being pants'd in G2. They've got a bit of an edge in the middle of the field + DCE and Hunt are the form halves of the competition and New guy Deardon is a super solid player in a top team right now. I think it'll be close and may well just be a case of how it's refereed, if the ref's allow QLD to slow the ruck again let them get away with "quick line speed" like G1 I reckon they'd be favourites. Also it's disappointing that Munster is out but let's remember the Blues are down their 2 best players + the best middle forward in the comp in Hass as well.
@@jenconvertibles What a painful result for us Blues fans... Cleary tried his heart out last night but I'd say DCE was the better half and on that performance you'd almost have to say Hunt should be front runner for the Australian 9 as well.
@@carlredfern8067 it hurts Ben hunt that he’s such a good 14, but I could see the Australian 9s being the same as the qld ones. I still stand by my comment about DCEs form being good, but not top in the NRL, especially with his defence. Nathan’s kicking was a little bit off though I’ll give you that
Nope Mam is there Reynolds will teach and guide him so nah Even the games he didn’t play the broncos have fought real hard and nearly beat Melbourne in Melbourne If u ask for once I reckon in a whole their future is Safe
@@farazalam5772 Melbourne are playing unmelbourne like this season Broncos still lost and I still stand by what I said jagging a win here and there is nothing without a game controlling halfback the Broncos will be back where they were without one Especially when someone like TMM plays the way he has and isn't resigned Don't get me wrong I hope they prove me wrong but history suggests otherwise
@@jest3167 there isn’t really any space for tmm cause they already have Walsh Niue and Cobbo. Idk what’s happening with broncs juniors but there’s no reason why they couldn’t go and buy another 7 after Reynolds retires with the 700k spare in the cap. Once mam has some experience I think him and Lachlan lam could work really well if he hasn’t been picked up by then. I doubt they would struggle to buy a 7 as a successful club with 700k spare in the cap
@@jenconvertibles They struggled for a 7 since they had Prince and Wallace on the books they had 2 halfbacks then it took them nearly 10 years to replace them.... TMM getting put at the back coincided with the form turn around watching him put his body on the line gave me hope for the Broncos where as watching Niu jog in cover defence and fall off after passing a ball makes me want to turn the TV off.... TMM saved tries Niu wouldn't even get close to making because he's too lazy , unfit , wouldn't put his body on the line or just didn't care Walsh IMO wasn't needed but Cobbo has potential I just don't get why you replace someone like TMM who's doing the job superbly
@@jest3167 Ben Hunt? Also I do agree with the Niue call I do think that there is not enough room in the squad for TMM since I reckon the broncs long term plan is to move Walsh to 6, they might move Niue on as well since staggs and farnworth seem to have cemented their spots (assuming Herbie doesn’t leave to play fullback)

The beak loving muesli bars just makes sense to me..

Blues are on tonight, 24-22 Jurbo last try scorer

Yea because 8 in a row is a record 4 or 5 in a row isn't which could happen in a 9 out of 10
