I keep meaning to pick up Tobacco Sunburst. I think it's a great dupe for Ina-Ho. That weird skip you got, that happens a lot with my Monteverde ink. I got two bottles because of that extra lubrication, but they seem to be "gummy" and not helpful in the pens I most need them for. I don't see others really saying much about that so maybe I have a crummy batch 🤔 These Student pens are so lovely. All of these from this series are ADORABLE. I kinda want one more: either the berry colored one or the blue one just because they remind me of classic Archie comics.
I’m new to the Monteverde inks. I recently purchased two inks, then added two more colors. I do not have a lot of experience with them yet, but will note for the future. I’m anxious to swatch and ink the guitar series inks. Great connection to the Archie comics with the decades student pens. I hope you get get the colors you want. For some weird reason, I’ve been in to greens and natural earth tones lately with pens and inks. 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you for the video. Interesting Kaweco pens! I want to try one. The Kaweco pen I like the most is the Dia2. I had pretty much written off Kaweco pens after I tried the Sport models;not for me. The Dia2 just popped up on my radar and I had to have one. It has become one of my frequently-inked pens. It writes like a dream with the broad-size Kaweco nib;which is more like a medium imho. The resin feels "precious";and the overall look of the pen is "vintage". Love the Dia2. Curious that I never heard much about the Dia2 before;I had to shop around to find one. I think I paid around $100 for mine.
Sounds much like my Kaweco Student experience. There are a couple more Kaweco model names I’ve heard but haven’t experienced. I will definitely look up the Dia2 model. I almost did not order the student version as I had plenty of Kaweco sport and AL models that I wasn’t reaching for and was considering for destash. I’ve already written both (brown and green) Kaweco Student pens dry and have re-inked. I’m enjoying the pens and realizing the familiar nibs. The acrylic body does hold more enjoyment for me. Thanks so much for sharing your Dia2 with me! 🖋❤️
That 50 States Brown is really speaking to me. I may just have to buy a bottle. I'm curious to see how it compares to the Tobacco Sunburst once you try it. Thanks for sharing your new pen!
My decision took too long. I left it in my cart until it was sold out. I’m kind of proud of myself 😂. I do have more Platinum and Esterbrook pens on their way, so I’m not totally missing out.
So pretty. I currently have this exact one in my cart along with the green one. Such a cute combo. Thanks for sharing this review.
You are so welcome! I have this brown in M nib and the green in F nib. Enjoy your fabulous pens! Thanks for watching.

I’m so glad I found this video, I didn’t know about this model. Thank you for posting!
Yay! I’m glad you found it as well. I recently discovered this Kaweco decades line and I’m so happy I’ve experienced them. Thanks for watching! 🖋️
The 20s Jazz is next on my wish list 😀
Do you have any of the others? I did look for the clear demonstrator model, but it just doesn’t have the charm.
@@MarcellHobbs I just have several Kaweco Sport, Perkeo and AL models…. I have a couple of demonstrator TWSBIs which I really like too😃
@@jeanrobinson6584 Same here. Enjoying all the good stuff.
An awesome hobby 😊❤
I have the same pen and love it!
I’m so pleased to have found and be able to share this line of Kaweco pens! Enjoy! 🖋️

I’ll have to make a point to swatch those today!
how fun, I haven't gotten this color yet.. I have the orange and the green so far..
Oh fun! Will you collect all the colors? It’s a fabulous sized pen with a smooth writing experience.
Great video, Marcy. Thanks again.
On another subject, did you ever decide on buying that Visconti Mythos Mirage Apollo in broad?
My decision took too long. I left it in my cart until it was sold out. I’m kind of proud of myself 😂. I do have more Platinum and Esterbrook pens on their way, so I’m not totally missing out.
Is it a metal grip on the pen? They both look really nice! 😇🩷🙏🙌
Yes it is a metal grip section. I currently have both of my Kaweco Student pens inked and I carry them in my school Galen notebook case.
