We have shortlisted this property, now all are advising us that its not safe buying this property in connection with some apartment demolition issue in Kochi. They also had all the valid documents and govt received tax from these tenants till date. Bank will give us loan for this property, but the lawyer of our bank asked us to sign a supplementary agreement connecting my existing other house with no liability.
How can we trust the govt, courts, authorities? Question asked by bank's lawyer.

@@robingeorge4515 I have no intension to invest in any project in an around kochi. And its not my duty to talk about all the projects in this area, as you said Shoba or the Tata's. I am against the government system .
Before investing in an property, File an RTI with the Town Planning Department or the Municipality about the legality of the project. That will stand as a strong evidence should the legality of the project be challenged by any government authorities in future.
Except the location and water front view, I can say there are plenty of more and bigger luxury apartments societies in Mumbai Pune and Delhi.
