RUclips has updated the comments so I'm not sure how to reply to you specifically, but there are many studies that prove vaccines work! Common sense for one should be enough to show you that they work. Go to your local nursing home and ask the elders about polio, iron lungs, measles, etc. Ask them about the horrible side effects. Ask them about all the deaths. Bad side effects of vaccines are VERY rare. Most of the side effects the majority of receivers will have is a sore arm and a mild fever. But back to those studies. Go to Harvard, Yale, any university that studies immunology, and you'll find all the studies you could possibly want that show how effective vaccines are. No vaccine is 100% effective, but they have put an end to many of the deadly diseases that our grandparents and great grandparents had to endure. But I'm sure you'll choose to ignore the professionals and just listen to what your dear mommy bloggers say.

I am so happy he isn't sensitive to dairy/lactose 👍🏻 My little man is now 7 and he never outgrew it 😕 I wasn't a caffein drinker as I am now while I nursed him, so that was never an issue for us. So glad someone suggested that though 👍🏻 3 kids later and I'm all about that coffee/caffein life ! We are expecting for our 4th and last time and this time it's twins 😱 We went from being told we may never have our own children to 5 in almost 8yrs ☺️ Amazing when God has the final say in writing our life story 🙌🏻
I'll let you know autism IS NOT CAUSED BY IMUNIZATIONS. IT'S SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN. YOU ARE BORN WITH IT. IT'S A GENETIC DISORDER. I have researched over and over because my brother is autistic. so chill out. When My child is vaccinated for thousands of diseases yours will be in the hospital deathly ill..... Sure there are side effects. But anything in this world has side effects. Diapers cause rashes, bottle can cause gas, some medicine can cause irritability. Just a small reminder to all these screaming autism and vaccines are linked. Learn the facts and talk to people with children who are in the spectrum🙄🙄
And for anyone wondering I have a 50/50 chance of my children having autism. So to prepare myself ive had to study this. Every school project was on autism.
It's weird, isn't it?! People believe that vaccination causes autismn even though tonnes of studies show that this isn't the case. And then their is studies that show that (foreign) blood transfusions acctually can make you seriously ill and nobody seems to care about it.
It can also happen at birth. Happened to my brother. Not in my family genes. He got stuck when my mom gave birth to him.
It's the same with my brother. it was "carried" through everyone and they he had it. Your brother probably had it in the womb and your mom and dad were carriers. So autism became dominant vs not having it. I am a carrier more than likely. So it's a good chance my kids will have it. It's kind of like someone in your family having blonde hair and no ine else does 😊 But i would love to know more about your brother! It would be nice to talk to another sibling of autism!
Getting stuck in birth does not cause autism. It can cause other issues, but not autism. The most common condition caused by getting stuck in the birth canal is Cerebral Palsy. This is due to being without oxygen for too long, which damages parts of the brain. But, it's not autism. You have to be born with autism.

i literally just watch the 1st 5 minutes of this video 3 times! Never got past the gymnastics class for some reason, it was so delightful to witness Gaines in her element! Guess I'll watch the remainder this evening sometimes . :-) And the smiles of ALL the kids cause they like 'nastics, were great!

Probiotics are AMAZING! I took one when I breastfed and all through pregnancy and my daughter never had constipation or tummy issues.
Right?! I wish people looked into it and realized how important they are for everyone physically as well as mentally! 😁

omgosh, Gaines did so well in gymnastics and she had a blast. too stinking cute!!!Baby Brooks is getting so big and I love his little smiles. I just crack up when Gaines stops and makes her serious face because she can't do it without laughing. so adorable. I just realized that you are almost at half a million subs. Way to go guys. Great family!!!

***HEY KATIE AND CULLEN- I'm the one yesterday on Instagram that suggested that caffeine might be the problem. I wanted to give you a hug when you said that you really want caffeine for your sanity... ME TOO! But I did want to say I nursed my daughter until 22 months and I wanted to tell you that as she grew and ate more people food and matured her pallet, I was able to integrate some caffeine back into my diet in small amount at 10-12 months. Good luck!!

I agree. Shots can be dangerous, people have no idea what goes into them. But unfortunately, people have their own beliefs about it, just like religions.
+GinnieKinz💜 no vaccines have been tested. ever. not combined. it even says on a package insert that a side effect is sids, autism, let's not forget all the autoimmune diseases. vaccines leave a perfectly healthy child sick.
I totally agree because I was badly effected after I had my MMR when I was 2. Now I have to live my life with gastro intentional difficulties, and Aspergers. It wasn't fun growing up being constipated all the time and very little friends because my social skills were affected. So I also dread seeing precious little ones like Brooks and Gaines getting shots cause they could be perfectly normal children one minute, then be completely non-verbal the next. I get so worried for them. The saddest part is, you can warn people all you want but they won't listen unless their doctors say otherwise, or until it's too late. 😞
+GinnieKinz💜 u understand completely and I'm so sorry you were vaccine injured. MMR is the most dangerous vaccine out there. There have been children completely walking, talking, normal children until that mmr vaccine. they completely regress and they're different children. doctors have little to no education on vaccines. last night I watched the documentary "VAXXED" it was played at the movie theater and it was mind blowing how corrupt the CDC is. They know the MMR is hurting children. The doctors from "dr. oz" and "the doctor" tv show was given the data in the MMR vaccine and they were upset they were lied to and they said they weren't going to continue the vaccine, to their children at least.
When I was little like Brooks I had the same problems with my stomach. The doctor had me switch over to soy milk instead of breast milk. A few years later I had the issues again and I threw up and had to elevate my bed that helped for a month or so then I went to a Gastroenterologist and he said that for a month I should try no dairy (nothing that comes from a cow except meat) it has been two weeks and I feel better already even though it suck to have not dairy. I love you videos and watch them every night thanks for all you do. My name is Maggie Wooldridge and I live in North Carolina!
My daughter squirmed around a lot when she was Brook's age. So much so it would wake her up at night because she was so uncomfortable. My doctor suggested the gerber soothe drops and we LOVE them. It completely fixed all her issues. Hoping the same for you. We even tried to stop giving them to her a couple months later and within a couple days she went right back to being uncomfortable. They really do work, I swear by them.
Cullen and Katie, thank you for showing in your videos that things go wrong in life and that everything doesn't have to be happy all the time! So many people believe life should be all happy all the time and sadly that Isn't the reality!

It's big here in the South lol....You can curse your momma (not really) but then "bless her heart" after and it's ok lolol I'm from Alabama too like C&K so if they do another meet and greet type thing, I'M GOING! I'm about an hour and a half away :)

Do gaines' fruit snacks have food dye? A lot of kids are sensitive to red dye and it can cause hyperactivity or irritability.
my youngest was and it is in hotdogs, etc...just have to read. For desserts I made frozen strawberries on a stick, frozen bananas rolled in honey and nuts, etc.
I didn't even think of that when i saw that part. My daughter gets extremely irritable with red dye. Spaced on the hyper part.

I gave him the same response! I know he meant iOS 10 but was probably thinking iPhone 7! I downloaded mine in the middle of the night and am still playing around with it. I love all the new, fun texting options!
Caffeine can't get to the baby through breast milk. I am a breatfeeding mom as well .i made sure to ask the lactation consultant when my son was born back in may. Im a coffee-holic lol i was afraid of caffeine getting to my son,But they told me caffeine can't cross breast milk.

Your experience sounds like what I went through with my son. I cut caffeine until 4 months and the Gerber soothe drops were a life saver!! Good luck.

That's interesting that your dr said bc of his poop being normal that he's not intolerant to dairy. I've never heard that before. My son is highly allergic to dairy (at 8 months old he was tested and confirmed and prescribed an epi pen) and his poops (he was breastfed) looked 100% normal and that of all other breastfed babies. The only way we found out he was allergic is because of his reflux. Everything else was 100% normal (this was at 2-8 weeks old as well when we changed my diet) He was spitting up quite a bit after feedings and could not sleep flat on his back without crying. When we found out I changed my diet and he was put on Zantac and he changed to a different baby, anytime I had dairy he would be mildly cranky and spit up a lot more. I really hope the dr is right about brooks and dairy bc it was so hard to cut dairy out for me, and it was just added stress! Hope he feels good soon!!!

KATIE - My oldest child, Hayden, would get fussy & have troubles similar to what Brooks is having, whenever I ate onions. We couldn't pinpoint why he was having good days & bad days until I wrote down everything I ate, because like Brooks, the dr was sure it wasn't something like a milk intolerance b/c of his poop. But I was sure it had to be something in my diet since it wasn't constant. Hayden can eat onions fine now, but as a newborn, they always made him fussy.
Now, my middle child, Tara, had HORRIBLE reflux when she was born. She had it so bad that she even choked on her spit up & turned blue the day we brought her home from the hospital. She slept fine & never seemed especially uncomfortable by it, but she just kept projectile spit-upping. Just before her 1 year birthday, I had had enough & made an appt w/ a specialist & 2 weeks before that appt, she it all just stopped! She outgrew it!! I hope Brooks is the same. Saying prayers it all works out, quickly for him.

Well Cullen, I did download iOS 7 but that was a few years ago when it 1st came out! Haha! I know you meant iOS 10 but you were also thinking iPhone 7! I downloaded it in the middle of the night but did it through my iTunes. Works fine for me! I have really just noticed a huge difference in texting and the way my notifications look. I'm still playing around with it though. Hope Brooks is feeling ok today from his shots. Bless his heart! He was not a happy boy after those! MG's angry face kills me every time! How is this precious child almost 2 years old?!?! I remember praying so hard for God to send her to you. And now you have 2! XOXO

I don't understand how your doctor can tell by the look of his poop that he doesn't have a dairy intolerance. My son's dirty diapers looked perfectly normal and I had to bring one in so they could do a hemoccult test on his stool. It turned out to be positive (blood was in his stool, invisible to the eye). I cut dairy and after about a week he was a whole new baby. I couldn't have caffeine either so I feel your pain. I hope this doesn't come off as negative just wanted to share my experience!

Katie- I had a really hard time with my 4 month old for about the first 12 weeks. I know you breast feed, and so do I but I had to supplement and found that switching to bottled water really helped.
my little girl is 12 weeks, we have been dealing with reflux since she was 4 weeks old shes now on this amazing medication but still seems very upset and spits up just not as much as she used to, warm showers with mum help ease her aswell as tummy rubs sitting her up straight after feeds and stuff like that, hope you guys find a way to help baby brooks soon x

Poor Brooks I don't know about you guys but every time my son got his shots I was crying more then him. I hope he feels better soon.
i know youve stated baby brooks suffers from reflux. what type of medicine if any is he on? my son suffered from reflux so bad he was on oxygen and an apnea monitor for the first couple months of his life along with sleep studies and mulitple doctors visits. he was on prilosec and it was amazing. you could tell a difference when he was on it verses being off. literally day and night. id love to talk more you about it if you want!!
He was on Zantac.. I think they stopped it now
I could have literally written this, my son was also on an apnea monitor because his reflux was so bad he aspirated a couple times when he was just a wee one. Prilosec was our God send. Zantac and Prevacid didn't work too well for him. I'm so glad we've all found the meds that work for these sweet babies acid reflux is the devil.

Hey don't know if you guys already knew about this. But for reflux if you turn him on his left side when he is laying down it should help. At least it helped my brother when he was that age. Hope he feels better.

forgot to add...not telling you all what to do. Just want to give you some info and you decide. my doctor took me off nexium because it is shown if you take it long to cause kidney issues, easy fractures, dementia. Have you heard about nursing right after shots? It helped my son and we didnt have to give him Tylenol. Also I konw this isnt helpful now but we tried to put our boy in a onesie so we didnt have to mess with his legs too much after shots. Poor thing. Also sorry for the two cents you didnt ask for. Love you guys :)

Another way for Gaines to learn how to sort colors is, get the different colored gold fish, and get her to sort them by color! It makes for great education, and a yummy snack!!! 😃

Crazy how both your kids were born getting a hemangioma! Both my girls were too, my one daughter was under her eye, it grew to the size of a golf ball and my second has one on her hip. It has grown but not to where it sticks out.

I had my 5th baby 6 weeks ago. She has been struggling because I went from block feeding (only nursing on one side per feeding) to both and she can't handle all the foremilk, it messes with her tummy. If his poops aren't yellow and seedy, that's probably the issue and the best way to deal is block feeding. pS, my monster baby was 10.5 at birth and she was 11.6 at 4 weeks lol.

Try drinking Kefir (liquid yogurt)- it is an amazing probiotic for your digestion that should help Brooks. You can buy it at Trader Joe's.
I love that you said that you've been drinking more Dr. Pepper to help with your sanity. I am right there with ya sister! I have a 4 year old and a 19 month old and I drink so much more Dr. Pepper on days that they are grumpy!!
I've noticed a little strawberry blonde tint in Brooks' hair in some of the recent vlogs you've uploaded recently! I wondered if it was just me. Does a red tone run in either side of your families? He's definitely going to be a blondy! Love & best wishes to all x
