Now that King Bob-Omb was defeated and Peach was free, Peach was now able to negotiate peace talks between the two Bob-omb clans. It also turned out that the war was manufactured by King Bob-omb the entire time to supply Bowser with weapons and to make profit.

I figured that since bowser is defeated, the paintings turn back to regular pieces of artwork. His magic is no more.
