Hey, The Man is back! I like your multi-part videos, they give you scope to really go into background on the collection and details on specific comics. Marvel's Giant-Size books from the 70s are becoming something of a rarity these days, well worth tracking down. Wonder Woman #199's cover is by Jeff Jones, one of my favourite Fantasy/Horror paperback cover artists of all time (he also did the cover for #200). Jones was brilliant at creating mood and tension often with a minimalist palette; I buy paperbacks just for the cover if it's by Jones. The cover of Batman #227 so perfectly captures the Gothic boom of the late 60s/early 70s started to some degree by the success of "Dark Shadows". Romance comics will become much more popular when more fans realise how many big-name creators contributed to them, so hanging on to select issues is a smart move Joe.
YO JOE! Its Tony, the neighbor 😄 We just went through the last few long boxes at the house and pulled out some great goodness! We are all busy the next 4 weeks but are going to go through the storage unit late November. You are still definitely the only one beside my self to get 1st look and see through. Ill keep you posted buddy. Great video! I liked and followed abd commented so that means im in the running for the Dept of Truth book? 😂 It will go great with my cgc 9.8 Plus i just pulled a great haul myself. You have to see it

Yeah this was definitely a nice collection. It also included all the golden age romance books I recently posted about.

Nice buy. What kind of bag and boards are you using on the last three books?
Right now they are just in regular BCW bags and boards, but I’ll be moving them to mylar once I get an order in.

Tell John at BronzeandmodernGods about your romance books.
