Have to give Australia a lot of credit, they were the better team for a large portion of the game and could've won it if it weren't for some horrible finishing.

@@alexhowden9248 Australia were at their absolute strongest in the early 2000s. You may recall them actually beating England in 2003. That was their golden generation, a whole raft of top european players including EPL, and they did well at the world cup.

I’m not an England supporter but👏👏👏 This is why it’s important to have a few pairs of players that have an already established chemistry!!! Grealish & Watkins, Shaw & Rashford, Prows & Rice, Stones & Walker. You add a few unbelievable talents like Kane, Bellingham and Trent etc to this and it’s a nightmare for any team.
Chelsea Academy graduates noticably featured in the England national side:
Levi Colwill, Fikayo Tomori, Conor Gallagher.
When Reece James is free of injury and Trevor Chalobah gets a chance, there'll be even more; not forgetting Mason Mount as well. . .
That's a lot to come from just one, albeit outstanding, Youth Academy for Football.

Some of England's benched players are worth double that amount and didn't even play. To lose just 1-0 with a 40m dollar team is impressive either way
