We had different Senior trips for every club and organization. I think the band went to a resort in Mexico, I remember they did the kite water skiing and scuba and had a blast. I was in Drama Club, we spent a whole week in NYC and saw 4 of the top Broadway plays, then ate at famous restaurants like Mama Leones'. Carol Channing was on our plane going there, and she was a doll! When she heard we were drama students, she gave us a pep talk and told us we were all fabulous. We all fell in love with her. But then, this was the 1970s when our school systems were well financed and big businesses loved donating equipment and money to schools. Many of those companies gave students internships even before they graduated. I reached adulthood thinking, "Man! Life is going to be GREAT! Nowhere to go but UP!" Then, they elected Ronald Reagan...
This is perfect. It’s high school awkwardness when friends are all together but the friends are coupled up but there is an extra guy who isn’t really liked by the girls but can’t say it directly since he’s the nice guy so everyone is just passively indirect lol
Especially they didn't use the true definition of cuck. It would have been funnier if they was all a married couple and his wife wanted to keep holding soul.
I'm wondering if they fought over who got to take that stuffie home with them, or if they'll save it for another sketch. I kind of want one now, and I haven't even seen the movie. I heard that Jon Batiste did the musical score, good enough for me! I LOVE that man!
they could have pronounced the jokes a little more like having the guys showing a little more pleasure when the girls were on them but they chose the more subtle route. hard to say if it paid off
This sketch was 4 minutes and 25 seconds for us and probably felt like 4 hours and 25 minutes to them lol, but for some reason I laughed all the way through it. Especially looking at Soul puppet lol.
I'm from Kansas City, but haven't lived there since I graduated college. Seeing a Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun reference brought be back to my childhood in a very happy way!
I think it's pretty great that Heidi wrote this knowing full well that she wasn't going to get the big laughs but Kyle was and also the fact that she let Ego be the one paired up with the host (although maybe she just wanted to be paired with Mikey because she knows they work very well together). She just wanted to write something from her experiences. That's a generous and talented performer.

Don’t know it for sure, but it features enough references to actual rides at the park (Viking Voyager, Zulu, Mamba) that jumped out to me as a Kansas Citian myself, and made me think it was written by someone from the area who knows the park pretty well.
The Viking Voyage is one of the last original rides when the park opened in 1973. It seats up to 4 people comfortably. If anyone gets to Kansas City, check out Worlds Of Fun and ride this ride. It’s a blast!

Oh the memories from working Viking Voyager. Load and unload were easy but scan was the best part. One hour at a time where you can sit and watch the boats go bye before they go down the big hill. It was peaceful as it allowed your mind to wander, just had to make sure people were still following the rules of the ride.

Oh the memories from working Viking Voyager.
Load and unload were easy but scan was the best part. One hour at a time where you can sit and watch the boats go bye before they go down the big hill. It was peaceful as it allowed your mind to wander, just had to make sure people were still following the rules of the ride.
