@@intellectual_being. the 2nd friend was Katsumata and he performed a plastic surgery in order to look like Fukubei. Sadakiyo was saved by Kenji and he's been taken care by kanna and is admitted in hospital.

@@intellectual_being. yeah I didn't understand the ending too much either but yeah it was still a great Manga. I also got Emotional at times. they say the real "Friend " was Katsumata but we don't see him at all.
@@intellectual_being. Did you read 21st century boys after finishing 20th century boys? It continues with 18 more chapters if I'm not mistaken. I'm still a bit confused on Katsumata. All I remember is that Fukubei used him to fake his death when they were kids in that Science room.
@@SoldierofJesusChrist777 yeah I just read 21st century boys nd understood all thanks to you buddy So the confusion was who is friend afterall so it was at first fukubei whole time but he died at the science room when yamane shot him nd the later half friend was katsumata the kid who was blamed to steal the space batch but it was kenji(gave to maruo I think) who did that so it was the vengeance that caused katsumata to do this all nd yes at last it was shown fukubei but katsumata had done plastic surgery to look like fukubei but it was katsumata

20th Century Boys teve uma adaptação pra filme em live action em 2007 se não me engano. E o anime de Pluto ta sendo produzido, mas sem data de lançamento.

No geral os caras do Japão não gostam muito de Seinen, então eles preferem adaptar pra filmes live action e usar a história, assim os adultos conseguem assistir sem pensar que é """desenho""" Inclusive, Master Keaton (outra obra do Urasawa) tem adaptação pra anime tbm
