A lotta parents have to come to terms with the fact that their best wasn't enough for their children, and harm is harm whether it was intentional or not. Until that is acknowledged, nobody can ever heal and move forward.
I don’t think she can be called a good mom. Children are EXTREMELY forgiving and it speaks volumes that Blueface said ‘you are not my type of woman.’ If she had acknowledged her failures and ‘healed’ her kids would want to be around her. I guarantee.

Yeah the fact that she thinks she is automatically entitled to respect and love from her children just because she's their mother... you gave birth to them, they don't owe you their love and respect just because you are their mother. So many parents think like that and it's mind blowing. If someone in my life is constantly making it worse, disrespecting me and my lifestyle, and/or stealing from me-they're out! It's crazy people think they have to keep relationships with their abusive or disrespectful parents solely on the fact that they are blood related... love and respect is earned, not promised unconditionally

Good interview. However, Mehgan, I'm not sure if you were pressed for time and trying to get through the questions quickly, but you didn't seem relaxed at all. Each time the camera was on you you were looking at the cards in your hand while she was answering the questions. It didn't seem like you were listening to the answers....more focused on rushing on to the next question. Overall, it was cool....my only suggestion would be to slow it down and zone in.

Boomers and generation x (and I'm sure generations prior) were made to accept that toxicity and think that it is ok and "just the way things are" for those patterns to continue. I agree. The 20’s are the decade to get to know yourself. Just exited teens and hs. Nobody has life figured out. The 20’s are to have fun, try diff jobs to see what suits you. Explore, discover go after your dreams. Def have kids later in life. Marriage too if you dig marriage. Get to know the person. That’s what we folk made mistakes in rushing relationships, not getting to know one and another. Then have a child young, struggle. So yes have kids later on. Enjoy your youth, enjoy your 20s. I’m saying this cause been there done that. No one taught me this. Had to learn the hard way.
