I like the suggestion of putting the characters names on the screen as they walk past the camera in that last scene.
Amber is really good at expressing in words what she is thinking.
Thr chosen is a great film each episode with their accents are incredible brings you back to that times in Jesus life
Jonathan is also Catholic so crucifixion has extra significance to him because of that. I can't even imagine the intensity of that. He is an incredible method actor! I understand a concern about the timeline. because I'm aware too, it seems strange at times. I'm also aware as a Jew too. I also know that some of the Christian symbols and dates for holidays we're taken and used for symbolic reasons. it would make sense the Christmas is in December darkness in many cultures. that's the same way it is for Chanukah in Western culture. Hanukkah is a historical holiday not a biblical one though.

You take time on scenes, and it gives me a chance to delve even deeper, and I can get lucky. The magic bag, that held the box and blanket, was quickly folded to become the cape for Our Savior, who rides off into Jerusalem. Rock on, Brandon!

They had Hanukah a few days before Lazarus death I don't get why they're so careless on things like this. Hanukah takes place December and Passover takes place on March or April so no possible way could Jesus receive notice on Passover of Lazarus dying when it was only 6 days away from Passover.

I understand why you compare the Biblical timeline to the Chosen timeline. I hope & pray that people who are not familiar with the Bible will read the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John)

4:55 The context of what Jesus is saying here , i.e., "I will love you til the end" is now and would also be at that time (aside from possible translation inequity) confusing given that He talks of everlasting life and sleep being synonymous with death. Given all that, what then is the definition of "end".
Apparently, in the Greek the words "till the end" (eis telos) mainly mean "to the uttermost". Yet, at the same time a verb from the same root is used in John 19: 30, tetelestai, meaning "it is ended"

Isn't the box kind of a plot hole? When Jesus left Nazareth Laz handed him the bag and he pulls the bridal out and looks at it. It wasn't in the box. Then they all left leaving the box presumably at the house. How and why did he get it back? Hmmmm

Christmas was not celebrated (couldn't have been, anyway), but Channukah - referring back to the period between our Old and New Testament - was celebrated

'Christmas' is not Biblical, nor historically "Christian" in origin, and he was not born in the Winter under the sign of the Sea Goat. Those who believe this falsehood are unstudied.
The cloak that is used in this scene is really a BAD choice. Perhaps he'll get a different one later but most Jewish men have a strurdy robe. A robe means a lot to a man and should be substantial and seamless. Obviously, this is NOT.
Only guessing, but perhaps this is deliberate to emphasise His humility like riding a colt, the foal of a donkey, not a horse?
