Too advanced for me as I am but if I don’t push myself I won’t achieve the level I want, so I have subscribed. Good useful content without the fluff and BS so I’ll pop back for more brain and finger punishment. Thanks.
Thanks so much for watching. Do send me lesson requests and/or questions and I’ll try and cover them. I want this to be an inclusive place for players of all levels, so let me know how best I can help you out 🎸🎸
This pattern is especially useful for thumb-over-the-neck players who, because of their hand position, find it easier to play along / across the neck rather than up and down in a single position. The picking is easier (and more fluid) too. It's all good. ;o)
As with a lot of Jimmy's lessons I half-knew it but know it so much better now. Great stuff. Thanks so much, Jimmy.
Thanks so much for watching, I’m glad it makes sense! 🎸🎸
Someone showed me this shape years ago and it's stayed with me ever since. Congratulations on hitting 3k+ subscribers!
I’m blown away by how quickly that’s happened, thank you for watching! 🎸🎸
Yay....over 3k! Well done
Bonkers, can't quite believe how quickly that's happened!
Very helpful, thanks a lot!😊
You’re very welcome, thanks a lot for watching 🎸🎸 keep me posted how you get on
Another hit (at least for me). You rock. Thanks a lot, Jimmy.
Thanks a lot for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🎸🎸
Great lesson! Loved your new acoustic songs as well.
Thanks for watching, and thanks for checking out the album, that really means a lot. I hope you find this all useful!

I hadn’t thought about that but that makes sense. I just find it an efficient shape to memorise and move around. Thanks for watching! 🎸🎸
