- Ghost of Tsushima is about to be four years old, and there is so much to look forward to for the IP right now. The PC Port is set to release on May 16th, there's a movie in the works, and the rumored Sequel is expected to be announced soon. Sucker Punch really struck gold with Ghost of Tsushima and I cannot wait to get more of this IP in the coming years!

Man i really do hope the sequel will continue jins journey instead of make a whole new character
The only other character I would be ok with is Jin’s dad or if it HAD to be a girl yuna
I don't think they'll do that just yet luckily. Sucker Punch is pretty good with handling their characters well. If we were on a third installment of the ghost franchise then it'd be more likely
@@DONTUSETHISCHANNEL1 bro I loved Yuna and she would make a cold as fuck protagonist. If Ghost 2 ever does DLCs, we need a yuna expansion pack. Give her her own drip customization, moveset, ghost weapons, some banger missions and skill tree
@@ezioauditore6371 lmao “woke” stfu and get laid
To prior commenters, playing as a female character isn't necessarily an issue. The only problem I could see is character writing, but if Sucker Punch keeps what they've got going, that won't be a problem.
My main worry for sequels that follow up on an old character is balancing. A lot of the time, they take away most if not all of what you gain in the first installment. Sometimes this makes sense, but I really hope we don't get a "Jin gets arrested in the mainland and loses all of his gear" sort of situation like a ton of other games do. You can also never forget the uncool trope of (John forgets how to shoot his giant fireball for no explainable reason) which has arisen with this sort of thing. Don't even get me started on amnesia.
Luckily, Sucker Punch is a smart company that seems to care about their games quite a bit. I can't see anything worse than God of War Ragnarok, so I am not worried at all for this one.
AC Red vs GOT comparisons are gonna be a war 😂
Speaking of that, what hell is going on with AC Red?
@@francisjr1412 i think that the trailer release date is coming net month

I'm pretty sure most of the major characters in GoT were modeled after their actors, so if it is a direct adaptation I hope they bring them back for their roles in the movie.
But also, I wish Sucker Punch wouldn't abandon Sly Cooper and Infamous franchises.
same i wish infamous was continued too. infamous second son feels like 40% of what we were supposed to get. main story is too short, side missions are terrible, and we never even go to curden cay in the present day to free/capture those conduits

Man, Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, and Rockstar are the only three major gaming companies that create games that feel like immersive experiences rather than just games.

Ghost is also one of my favorite games. Finished it on PS4, upgrade to the PS5 version finished it again, now so keen for the PC release.
Keep up the great work MasterAssassin! 👍

I hope the part 2 will be called "Ghosts of Tsushima" where Jin will train others to be a ghost too. (that way maybe we'll have multiple playable characters, each which has unique storyline that ties with the main storyline)
Honestly GoT is the reason why I'm not really hype for AC Red, this game was so amazing and, like you said, with only 160 people 😂 in front of Sucker Punck we have Ubisoft, that are looking all their games the same and I don't trust them for a long time lol I'm more hype about GoT 2 than any AC in Feodal Japan
Eh, it is really a two cakes kind of situation. More games in that time period is a plus for me, tbh. But also i love how GoT handled the cosmetics in the game for which Ubisoft certainly will try to make you pay up for. That is what i am not down for, but the setting? Hell yeah, gimme moar of that :D
I was halfway through the first play through on ps5. I immediately stopped when the pc port was announced!
I've played it a few hours on ps5 and was so blown away from its atmosphere. I'm waiting 2 years for a pc release, and now it's almost here. Man ... I AM SO READY ❤
I love that Sony is finally willing to bring the big ones to pc. But waiting for these 3-5 years sucks but better late than never.
7:26 I’ve been saying since I beat NG+, Jin should get word from the Shogun on the mainland that the Mongols are there now and they need his skills and tactics. Then they could sort of do the way of the Ninja spreading in Japan in the second game as “the ghost” is now on the mainland:)
I think Jin would be on the mainland, but I don't think the shogun would ask for Jin's help, instead, they try and arrest him for treason against the samurai, I think hopefully that they implement the good ending where shimura is still alive, and helps jin, eventually convicing the Shogun to let Jin help.
The fact this game never got a ghost of tsushima themed console but spiderman and death stranding and god of war and last of us did was a snub. 👻
i played it when it came out on ps4. since my ps4 broke and i havent been able to fix it, i am super excited to dive into and play ghost of tsushima once again. it is the most beautiful and stunning game ive ever played and i will continue to praise Sucker Punch for their outstanding masterpiece.
First time GOT PC player!! I've been hooked on this game ever since their E3 video and while I didn't have a playstation, I tried to see the gameplay cinematic movie back in 2020 but it was just too long to watch it with the sidequests so I decided that one day when this game releases on PC I'll finally play the entire narrative myself. Just started Act 2 yesterday and my goodness, the game has exceeded my expectations and blew me out of the water with its beautiful graphics. As a cinephile, I absolutely LOVE how even the devs acknowledge that this game was made to be photographed and given their passion for Samurai filmmaking in dedicating an entire Kurosawa mode to the game, the beauty of GOT definitely shows!! HUGE SHOUTOUTS to the Jin's customizability btw, it's such a small but fulfilling part of the already bonkers aesthetic.
Like you, I'm coming from this series as a die hard Assassin's Creed and Hitman player and this game is legit just a better AC, especially the stealth elements. I don't like games too too focused on combat like Horizon games and I'm glad the combat system for GOT isn't as complex as some other games but the free flowing stealth gameplay is by far MY FAVOURITE element of GOT! I've loved this game so much since that time that for the past 3 years, my desktop background has been of Jin & Masako sitting along a cliff overlooking the Izuhara landscape. Having finally played it on PC, without hesitation, I can say this is my favourite game of all, I consider it to be the best game IMO; just peak gaming!! That'll be all gushing I can give right now lool.
Just started it last night, about 3 hours in now. So far I am enjoying it very much. :)
I just want a new Infamous….
Delsin deserves a sequel.
I want a new inFAMOUS, but not with Delsin.
@@Jamushu if delsin is the one from no.3 agreed. I found him very annoying. Loved 1 and 2 more than anything
@@Jamushunah I just disagree, so much to build upon.
Cole was good, but man his acting was not…the voice I never liked with Cole.
Delsin just feels like the future on the IP, it would just be weird to ignore such a powerful conduit.
My hopes is that at least they don’t make Delsin a villain in the next game.
Have Delsin be the “John Connor” of the franchise. Saving conduits.
@GoronMerchant I'm not saying you have to bring back Cole. Part of the reason why I never liked Second Son, is cuz I felt it invalidated the decent ending the second went off of.
That and there's nothing likable about Delsin.
Naw, a new inFAMOUS needs a new slate imo.
@@JamushuI just disagree. Nothing gonna change that.
Srry, I want Delsin cause I find him interesting foil to everything around him.
I would like the game no matter what, I’d just prefer a sequel, not a reboot…
I played tsushima when it first released, shortly after my ps4 died.
I've been waiting 4 years to return to the island 😭
bro the thing with mirage is that tsushima had enough development time while bordeaux had to rush everything in an almost 2 year time. still what they did with mirage earned a big respect from me
Just hope AC Shadow has better and smoother fights and gameplay
I've watched this game as a playthrough from RadBrad. I cried buckets. Now that it is on PC and I am going to play it, I am all ready to shed tears again.
I think games like Shadow Fight 2, 3 and Shades also deserve a movie.
Jumping in after work I can’t wait to re-play this damn game!!!
I personally love that "Ghost of Tsushima" got an update and I hope the sequel will do well. I honestly would have also liked it if we got new story missions or maps in the online version of the game "Ghost of Tsushima: Legends!" Also, since the video mentioned "Assassin's Creed", I would love it if, in future updates or the sequel, Sucker Punch provided Easter Eggs (preferably armor skins or story missions) to "Assassin's Creed Red", which basically is "Assassin's Creed" taking place in Japan, and everyone says that "Ghost of Tsushima" is basically "Assassin's Creed" in Japan, which I totally agree.
The sequel needs to be set in Mainland Japan, and use Osaka as one of the primary locations in the game, as well as possibly Kyoto too
The game is called ghost of kamukaza (I think I spelled it wrong) it was name of the shogun on the mainland of japan so it’s for sure happening in the mainland but we don’t know if it’ll be Jin or a new character
There are stories from the real invasions of Samurai fleding to the mainland after the destruction of Tsushima and Iki to warn them of the invasion. One samurai was supposed to escort the princess of Iki after their Jito committed seppuku. She was struck with an arrow, dying , leaving him the only survivor to make it to the mainland.
@@samuraijackoff5354 that would be cool
@@KimJongUn278is that confirmed?
The movie will not be released in a year or two or start filming soon. Chad is making a homelander movie with Henry Cavill first before potentially doing GOT, but he also is tied to a Rainbow 6 movie.
It's literally just assassin's Creed but in Japan😊
Don't get me wrong, I love assassins creed, but its nothing like the game, it's more comparable to Sekiro. Only thing that AC and GOT have in common, is the stealth. But Jin basically turns into a shinobi, which shinobi used to do.
So hyped for the PC release, been waiting years to be able to play this game.
And anything Chad Stahelski is involved with is fire. He did the choreography for Ninja Assassin and a GoT movie would have very similar action.
I found out about this game like 4 days ago and i am so in love with it, and when i heard this guy say there might come a part 2, makes me even more excited!
They could split the movie into 2 parts. The first one ending on Jin being in prison. Then part 2 for the rest of the story.
U should do a wishlist for the sequel
The more I hear it, the more I realize "Tsu" is to native English speakers what "R/L" is to native Japanese speakers.
For those who don't understand, the "T" in "Tsushima" isn't actually silent. It's just very slightly voiced in a way that most non-Japanese speakers have difficulty picking up. Even knowing this I can't pronounce this word correctly to save my life. 😅
Anyway, did not know there was a movie in the works but I am here for it. And a sequel to the game? Yes please!
I’ve passed the main story 3 times and hit platinum a while ago. Playing it a 4th time now, absolutely love this game! Hopefully sucker punch is cooking good for this sequel
Can't wait to complete two more playthroughts of this masterpiece once it releases on PC!
My absolute favorite game of all time. They really need to add more melee weapons to the sequel - imagine dual wielding a daisho set (katana & wakizashi) or getting to use a nag Inara. Also, more dynamic assassinations; for example, being able to assassinate with your sword if it’s already drawn. Also, would be cool to see some form of firearm, as they are an under represented weapon in Japanese inspired media. Samurai used them all the time. They were, albeit more common in later eras of Japanese history though. Then again, this is historical fiction, and the Sarugami armor (in its first form) is definitely inspired by later types of samurai armor.
Anyways, really excited. If anyone can make this game into an even bigger masterpiece than the last game, it is Sucker Punch.
Same. Been my favorite game since it was released
The only improvement i'm hoping to see in the sequel is a better parkour system, especially if the game takes place in dense cities. On top of that, a good story (preferably having Jin as the main character) is all the sequel needs to become one of the best games of all time.
There are quite a few blatant issues with this game that needs fixing this game cannot be considered a masterpiece
@@TringledingleGhost is definitely a masterpiece
Very exciting until sony delisted and refund those pre order in 170 coutries
I read the comments here because, Ubisoft release today thier frist cinematic AC Shadow. What I see is that GOT is almost 5 years old and still beter than the new AC game.
To be honest, I like anything to do with feudal japan, or samurai, such as Got, sekiro, etc so as long as the gameplay and the fights are smooth, then I'll enjoy it
Id like to see Jin's character evolved into a *Martial Arts School Principle* where you can learn from a hand full of Sensi' offering different attacks / weapons and their own skill trees based on progression. That would also add depth into the advantage/disadvantage system. Each disciple offering class buffs but the ability to carry a second main weapon at the cost of non-class focused debuffs. Created characters from all over the world looking to help the islanders fight the Shogun & Mongols, but those same Mongols also expanding their unbrella bringing in master assassins. Maybe add a heavier focus to Asian Mythology as a whole w/elements of not only Japan specifically, but even the smaller & bigger nations in Asia. Like, imagine fighting a Thai Mythos using a Muyi Thai class where hand to hand combat is buffed so you're snapping someones leg bones with a Special Kick Move or wild ass takedown animations. Multiplayer available for a main epic ass story, but also a co-op story. Except its not locked to only picking 1 weapon type at a time, that would go crazy.
Can’t wait for the PC port so I can finally play this game. Been wanting to play it for literal years, so now that it’s finally coming out I’m about to go hard lol. Feels crazy that my years of waiting are nearly over. Super pumped
A movie and a sequel for the game plus an update to LEGENDS multiplayer would be a hit
I hope they do multiple movies, so then we can get the full experience. Like each movie is each act in the game.
I can already see the modders go crazy
Very glad that PC players are going to able to get their hands on this gem. Fantastic immersive world and gameplay, engaging story and some of the most fluent and satisfying sword combat ive ever played. Hopefully, Legends is crossplay with PS5, see you in Yomi.
Replaying right now. First time playing directors cut and on the PS5. Was blown away by this game before. Now im just stunned. It's pure art. I consider RDR2 the greatest game, personal favorite, and this is a close 2nd. There's just no way to describe how perfectly they made this from a gamers perspective. Im not a weeaboo at all and this game had me looking into samurai history, reevaluating how i look at and live my own life. I've even been writing haikus lately. Love this game, pure masterpiece.
I’m getting a Pc in two days and I’m looking forward to playing Ghost of Tsushima for the first time 😊
People always so " Oh my all the mods will be awesome."
But does it have mod support or we just getting shaders?
Like 4 days after it released they already started modding the game
will we be able to upload progression for multiplayer character?
When I played the ps5 version I purposely didn't do that. It was fun to level up the 4 classes again.
Imagine being able to switch between Jin and Yuna in Ghost 2! 👻
I think it would ruin the aspect, what would be the point of switching characters? It would be useless
I reckon 2 will be mainland , the shogun is under house arrest, Jin rescues him and his clan name returns with honours .
I love the Ghost of Thusima soundtrack in the background
I am a PC only gamer, can't wait to play this
Just imagine the open world is mainland Japan. Mount Fuji in the distance. Explore a true city for once, walking around Kyoto. Samurai duels in a bamboo forest under the pale moonlight. I love this game. Hope the sequel will keep its artistic integrity, just bigger and more.
Sucker Punch is one of those studios which entirely focuses on the quality aspect rather than quantity, hence they only produce masterpieces.
In my personal opinion, GoT basically achieved a Vision equivalent to AC Unity and stuck the landing with everyone looking on and losing their minds! 😂😂
TO THE MODERATOR:
I agree with you 💯💯💯💯💯%!!!!!
This IS a game to be remembered.
EVERY THING A PLAYER WOULD WANT TO ENJOY IS BUILT IN.

I’m just now playing it for the first time on PS5. It was free a few months ago and I’m kicking myself for waiting this long.
The team size makes sense too me, when you have 400 different people contributing to one project, things are bound to get messy and unorganized really quickly. A smaller team means a more direct focus. Now there’s still a difference between 20 and 150 you know
Xbox players malding
I can just imagine the mods, being Jin vs goku or something
I swear Hiroyuki Sanada will be in the movie I can almost say that with certainty after his performances as of recent like John Wick 4 and Shogun he is great I also wonder if they will keep it in English or go Full Kurosawa and make it Japanese subbed hopefully not in B&W though cause the colours of Japan especially in that time are stunning
A good part 2 would be a an older Jin fighting the mongols one last time after reviving and unifying Tsushima
I really hope Jin gets some 🐱 in the sequel he’s earned it.
I bought a ps4 years ago just to play this game but never got to finish.. fast forward to now I got a ps5 and playing through again. What a masterpiece.
I hope if a 2nd GoT releases, that it also has a coop mp and I hope they improve it
Heard of the game when it came out on the PlayStation and thought it was interesting. I am mainly a PC gamer so like everyone I expected to never ever get to play it (cough Bloodborne, cough) but Sony somehow gave us a PC port and I have not stopped playing it since I got it. I have over 80 hours and I am not even close to beating the game. I only hope that they follow through and release a sequel on PC and not make us wait another 4 years or in the case of Bloodborne.. we'll probably be waiting forever for that.
Just bought it for the second time. Never done that before.
This game is only 40gb on PS4 and it's so graphically amazing the fighting is crazy,it's mind blowing how good this game is.
I hope in the sequel Jin will leave for the mainland (with Yuna ofc), to petition the shogun to re-establish the Sakai clan. Only to find out that the shogunate has been corrupted from within. Only the Emperor overrules the shogunate. Of course, the Mongols would invade the mainland by then, we know historically the Mongols never conquered the whole of Japan. The shogun wouldn't want to hear Jin Sakai out and make him a public enemy - then here he might find an unlikely ally in Tomoe who by now owns her own little teashop in Kyoto as she always wanted, but is secretly a shinobi spy working to overthrow the corrupt shogunate. Tomoe will save Jin's life and introduce him to the shinobi in Iga and learn the way of the ninja, complimenting previous skills as the Ghost of Tsushima. Kyoto and Mie Prefecture are actually within riding distance. The legend of the Ghost of Tsushima would have reached the ears of the people on the mainland, no need for a new character, and it can still be true to its title.
I think it would be a great story if the Emperor is aware of the shogunate's corruption and are using the shinobi to undermine their efforts and ultimately assassinate the shogun. Because the Mongols are on their borders, if the Emperor struck against his own warriors it may incite a civil war between those loyal to the shogun and those loyal to the Emperor and Japan is in a fragile state by now, any such weakness could encourage the Mongols.
I just started playing the game, it is FANTASTIC
Ghost of Tsushima 2 must target a year with no major competition to win Game of the Year. I was disappointed GOT did not win on its year of release. I enjoyed the campaign and enjoyed even more with the free multiplayer content. Amazing work Suckerpunch. 👏
I'm hoping for a sequel and I'm literally playing for the first time on PC this is an amazing game and within the first 5 minutes it had me hooked. What I thought was very thoughtful was they enabled fsr3 frame gen for 20-30 series rtx cards and it works with dlss on I get 120 fps with my 3060ti 8GB, i7 12700f, 32 GB 3200 ram.. EDIT sorry my settings are set to high then I put the anisotropic filter to the max and textures to very high. My vram usage sits at about 80-87% and the GPU usage is at about 85-95% I try not to go any higher on other settings so the game doesn't crash from vram maxing out
I will always support great games. I own 3 versions of this game. PS4, the deluxe version and the directors cut for PS5. I dont have PC but I plan on buying it there too. I want a 2nd game so bad. I will obviously gift the PC version to a friend of mine but this game is absolutely beautiful and stunning. Everyone should experience this game.
1:24 the main difference between them is passion, and it can do wonders if u got it
Gta6, GoT2, kcd2😮💨 this year is gonna hit so good
I just finished the Iki Island DLC. It was perfect. I liked the story even more than the base game story. I got the platinum and am now trying to 100% this game
If they are going to make a movie I believe they should make a whole trilogy. Because of the amount of lore and story in this beautiful game it deserves the best and most accurate storyline for the movie itself, I know its a big “what if” but if it was done right it would be a HUGE success
GOT and Witcher 3 are my top two games in the last 10 years. But GOT takes the cake because much like you I enjoy good stealth gameplay. I wish the Witcher 4 added stealth mechanics would make it my GOAT game.
He and Miyamoto Musashi have a lot in common when it comes to going against samurai tradition; That's definitely someone he should come across and learn from in the sequal,
The video game was awesome through-and-through one of the best I've seen and played thus far, (next to red dead redemption 2) keep up the good work sucker punch; As far as the character of jin sakai goes I do not consider him a hypocrite or a tratior to honor at all, He continued to show himself to be the most honorable, more so than his uncle due to the fact that he valued innocent lives more than the need to appease the rigid dogma of the bushido code for the sake of his uncle and the shogun, they were facing an enemy that was using their code against them to take over the land and the people and jin saw no other choice but to break away from that in order for his people and his country to survive the murderous onslaught of the mongols, Thus it forced him down a path that he was Initially resistant to but ultimately embraced for the good of everyone Which in turn has made him a beloved living legend among his people as well as tsushima's very own japanese zorro, He may have sacrificed and lost everything because of the harsh choices he was forced to make, but he also gained a whole lot more from his willingness to sacrifice and lose everything for the greater good of all and he for a video game character has my utmost respect for that.
His uncle however is the villain of his own story because he was willing to sacrifice an innocent woman like jin's friend yuna to the shogun and blame the poisoning of the mongols on her; something a man of honor should never do, so I personally don't care about lord shimura's pain, he deserves it and what better way for him to suffer more than to be spared and live with the humiliation of having his own nephew and "son" go on to become a better person and greater legend than him, the shogun and the entire class of the samurai. LONG LIVE THE GHOST!!! 🔥💯😉😁👍
Ghost of Tsushima in the Kamakura period of mainland Japan will be amazing. So much potential, Ive always wanted to play a game like this as a Japanese.
I just found out that GoT is coming to PC and I'm so excited. I'm primarily a PC player but I went and bought a PS4 back when the game was originally released lmao. Its easily on my top 10 of best games of all time.
Having way less employees probably helps, if anything. Less branches makes thicker bark, y'know?
Not exactly how it works, the more developers, the better, The other studios just choose to rush their games for money.

for the love of god, let the sequel PLEASE be pc ready ON RELEASE!!!
I preordered the pc version immediately after its announcement. im beyond excited to experience this game for the first time! My impression is that it's sort of a mix of red dead redemption 2 and assassins creed......IN JAPAN...so it's like a dream come true for me!
I just REALLY hope it's optimised well. My gaming laptop isn't very high spec at all (HP Omen 15, RTX 2070, 32 Gb RAM, I7 10750h), but I feel it should be able to run a game that was released on PS4 pretty well.
Ghost Of Tsushima absolutely one of the greatest games ever made, absolutely gorgeous to look at, it’s still breathtaking now.
If you look at PS and Xbox and wonder why Xbox is struggling just consider that Sony ended last gen with Ghost Of Tsushima and The Last Of Us part 2
Two of the greatest games ever made. It ain’t rocket science
MasterAssassin, You're awesome! Let's be friends and play together!

I love this game so much. It will always be one of my most favorite games. I really hope we get a sequel one day 🙌
The headcount and budget for Ghost of Tsushima is VERY impressive considering how insanely good the game turned out.
Can't wait to play the game as miyamoto musashi
I never finished the game as I never feel as relaxed in front of my TV as my computer so looking forward to play this on PC.
Only issue is that I will be broke at release :(
I hope the PC port will be good, sometimes the ports are awful.
Chad Stalehski wants the movie to have an all-Japanese cast and dialogue. With the TV show Shogun's popularity and success, which has over 70% of its dialogue in Japanese, I can see this happening. And with Chad's collaboration history with Hiroyuki Sanada in John Wick 4 and his awesome portrayal of Toranaga in the show, I could see him as Lord Shimura. But I would like to see Andrew Koji as Jin because the actor has a stuntman background and is a martial arts expert. And Anna Sawai, who played Toda Mariko so wonderfully, should be considered for Yuna. What do you guys think?
I’ve been wanting to play this game for YEARS and now I finally get to do so I’m so excited
I want the sequel to Keep Jin not introduce a new character but if ghey do introduce a new character Imagine if they do like a Mythic Tale:The Ghost which unlocks you the ghost stance
