  • Multimac: Designed for Maximum Safety
    www.multimac.c...
The Multimac has been approved to the European Safety Standard for child seats: ECE 44-04, and performs exceptionally well against all crash test requirements.
Multimac achieves high standards of safety because of its unique energy absorbing design which includes:
    - Special grade aluminium frame
    - Patented support legs that deform to absorb energy in the event of a crash
    - Carefully designed adjustamac and chest pads which also absorbs energy
    - Strong tether strap mountings that are fixed to the chassis of your car
    - A 5 point harness suitable for children up to 12 years old keeping them safer for longer
    - Ylva headrest providing side impact protection for little heads and necks
    TESTING
The multimac is crash tested at VTI in Sweden who back multimac as an innovative and safe solution to fit 3 or 4 children in the back of your car. VTI is often recognised as the ‘home of child safety’ having invented the rear facing seat, IsoFix and the Swedish Plus test, so we are proud that they recognised the safety and quality of multimac and have chosen to work with us since 2001.
The VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency), TRL (Transport Research Laboratory), The British Government and European Government have also all been involved in the development and approval of multimac for use both in the UK and across the world.
To cover all scenarios 11 different child age/load combinations are crash tested with the multimac and 28 dummies are used to ensure the seat achieves maximum safety no matter the age/weight configuration used with the multimac.

We'd love to be able to in the future, but no plans just yet unfortunately. If you wanted more information, or to understand why the Multimac currently isn't approved for use in America, please have a read of our recent blog post!

Sadly not! The US doesn't recognise the EU approval so we can't sell there unfortunately.
