Even for Japanese native speakers the time to learn all the 2136 official General Use Kanji is spread over 6 years of elementary school and another 6 y. of high school. And they already know the spoken language very well
I personally prefer learning kanji from textbooks!! I recommend some textbooks like “Understanding through pictures1000KANJI”. Preferably textbooks which were made for children in Japan!
1. I think people have different learning patterns. I've never found writing useful for kanji, it's just not for me. Rather, I like looking at a kanji and see a story in it. For example, when I see 飛ぶ I see birds flying off. Words after words this logic slowly builds up. It doesn't have to be writing. Because you will not need to write by hand. You need to know the words just enough to type on computer. 2. Also, young adults have to pass exams to find job etc, and 10 words daily isn't realistic goal. I study new 50 kanji each day and I can't even catch up. You will not learn Japanese at this slow rate, because your learning curve would be very concave (which means with little acceleration) and it's not nourishing enough to consume daily Japanese materials (Tv, announcements, news, warnings etc).
All I ask you is to like this video and subscribe the channel to support me. Thank you!!
Very helpful, thank you
