  • Bhakoswa is a very famous dish of Uttar Pradesh. It is also called Dal Fara in different places and is known by different names like Gojha, Pan Gojha or Bhakoswa.
    This is a very healthy dish which is prepared with absolutely minimum oil.
    To make this we soak the chana dal for 5 to 6 hours/or overnight.
    Then in our main ingredients green chilli, adrak, if you eat garlic then you can add salt, red chilli powder, amchur powder at the right time and
    At the time of kneading, water should be used as much as 1 or 2 spoons, because we need it to thicken.
    Measure of ghee in atta is 3 cup flour, you can also use 3 spoon ghee/oil and also add 1/4 cup of sooji flour in the main flour.
    Then normally let the binded flour to rest for 15 minutes.
    Now the main thing is seasoning, curry leaves, turmeric and red chilli can be also eaten without adding seasoning.
    You can add carrots, muttar, whatever vegetables you want along with it.
