Dustin, if youre looking for a LEGIT touge style road in SoCal, IMO, one of the best is Big Pines Highway between Big Rock Creek and Angeles Crest Highway (Hwy 2).. I've been driving this road for the last 20+ years. It offers an extreme range of high speed and low speed, hairpin turns, high speed S's, triple digit straights and an elevation gain of just around 2000ft. CalTrans repaved most of the road about a decade ago, so it is still quite smooth as well. Definitely my favorite SoCal "touge"... 🙂

Azusa canyon is also good. My personal favorite canyon is my backyard Hollywood hills, Laurel Canyon, Benedict, Mulholland and the rest of the canyons around the San Fernando Valley area.

Alright I’m done gatekeeping. If you’re ever coming up north to sac or these areas. There’s a road called “Little Panoche Road” next to the I5. It’s a great touge run. A and it’s long as heck but also a bit dangerous since it’s a lot of sharp turns. But it’s so much fun, I recommend it to anyone
There's a couple good twisty roads in central northern Arizona if you ever go up there. Just gotta watch for cops since people like to run them at speed.
