We are on this in May and have the conservatory mini suite, didn't realise you get priority boarding, can't wait 😁Thank you for really good blog 😀 glad hangover getting better! You both look lovely
Yes, the extra little bits make it even more special , hope you have a fantastic cruise, not long now😆. Thank you for your kind comments and for watching😊
Hi both, Oh dear ! Poor you Kelly feeling seasick,,,,awful feeling. Great video Matt walking around a rocky ship! Kind of Dave to show us around the conservatory suite, very nice . Looking forward to your next film.
Thanks for showing the conservatory cabin as we are in one of those cabins in may, didn’t know about the extras you get with this cabin.great video thanks
Thanks to Dave and Mandy for allowing this to happen, the conservatory suites are an amazing addition to this beautiful cruise ship. Thanks for watching 😊
There are amazing options on board, if you ask the staff they are very helpful as well, Keel and Cow and Sindhu are outstanding, if you book Sindhu, just pop down 24hrs before and let them know if you want the vegan option, as they need to change a couple of items 👍🏻
Interesting video! I thought you both looked great after a late night of partying but the combination of drink and stormy sea obviously took its toll on poor Kelly. Glad you well enough for dinner though and very brave of Matt to be up on deck. We've been on ships in rough seas but they've always shut the outside decks for safety. So kind of the couple to let you film their room. The conservatory cabin looked lovely, very spacious with additional perks. I'm getting a bit excited now as it's 7 days before we board.
Hi Angela, Yes the suite was great. Would recommend deck 9. We are going to Norway in August on Iona, deck 9, conservatory suite. Looking forward to this one, sadly without Matt and Kelly but maybe this time I will vlog this cruise myself. Our best wishes Dave and Mandy xx
@@MaDaboutcruisin We've got a balcony cabin on deck 10. This will be our first experience of P&O. We usually go with Cunard or Princess so it's going to be exciting to explore the ship and see the difference between cruiselines.
The seasick tablets made a massive difference to Kelly. One side on the top deck was closed off, so must have been bad on that side, always love going out on deck in the bad weather if I can😆. Dave and Mandy are a fantastic couple and really great company. Only 5 days to go now for you🥳😆 Thanks for watching and we hope you have a fantastic cruise👍🏻
It can be quite unnerving, but isn’t bothered by the roughness but o get quite poorly, seasick tablets seem to work quite well though, thanks for watching xx
Hi to you both, we were on that cruise and our cabin on deck 14 was mid ship , really glad ad movement was quite minimal, really enjoying blogs. Take care from Mac (I.C.D man )and von , how is your friend xx
Hi you two, hope you are both well? Our daughters boyfriend is doing very well thanks, the information you gave us was great to reassure them both that all would be fine. Take care xx
I felt for you in that weather. We came back on Iona early due to storm Eunice and had to wait off France until we could make southampton. Our cabin was right aft overlooking the back, never again do I want that position on the ship, we had a lot of issues sleeping in the rough seas, so much movement, it was very unnerving especially at night. Mid ship for us next time ! Super video as always. P.S. sea sick pills are a great asset !!! 👍
Hi Viktor. My friend and I were on the same cruise during storm Eunice. We were lucky to be on deck 4, midship which wasn't too bad at all. Would definitely book that position again and the window seat was very nice.
Definitely midship is the way to go especially when I’m the winter months😂Matt seems to sleep through most things but I wake up for the smallest of things, most of the time he doesn’t even realise that storms have even happened 🙄😂thanks for watching 😊
Have amended my cruising checklist for when _not_ to get too trollied: before a port day, entering the Bay of Biscay, when a bad weather warning has been issued for the next day, before the last full day of the cruise (🆕).
Thanks for watching, from what we saw of the suite along with Dave and Mandy’s reaction and views, they do look and sound amazing to stay in, especially on the deck above the promenade deck. Hope you all have a fabulous cruise😊👍🏻
Hi guys, so nice of Dave to let you in to have a nosey. Lovely people. Shame about the rough seas, which sea sickness pills do you recommend? Also those meals looked amazing in the keel and cow, I thought they only did meat dishes xx
Hi Sarah, It was wonderful to meet Matt and Kelly, they are just as you see them on the video's, lovely people. It was great to spend some time with them and a pleasure to help with a room tour ( I was a little apprehensive 🤫🤣🤣) Best wishes Dave and Mandy xx
@@MaDaboutcruisin You were a natural on the video - well done. If I ever see you on a cruise ship I will come and say hello 👋. Our cruise leaves for the fjords in 4 weeks and 6 days. Im a cruise newbie but have already booked Arvia for next April too. Take care x
@@sarahfilbey275 Hi Sarah, thank you for your kind words, I was quite nervous to be doing the room tour with Matt after watching so many videos of them both. Poor Kelly wasn't feeling so good on that day 🤢so I stepped up. I'm sure you are going to have a great time on your cruise to the fjords, then you will be hooked like us. Please say hello if you ever see us on a future cruise. Let us know how your cruise went. Take care and " KEEP CRUISING " xx
Hi Sarah, Dave and Mandy are such a lovely couple, we had a few lovely meet ups with them both, watching Dave on camera you would never know that he had never done it before ( Future blogger 🤔) Kelly uses stugeron seasick tablets, we thought that about The Keel and Cow as well but when we looked we couldn’t believe it, some of the best vegan food on board. Thanks for watching our vlogs xx
Hi Matt and Kelly - what is the music you use at the start and finish of your videos! Its been bugging me for ages! Great video as always - love watching them as I haven't felt able to go cruising yet since Covid but miss it so much
Hopefully you can back to cruising soon, the songs we use are all from a website called Epidemic sounds, our intro song is called “Mom’s old hatchback”by Lvly, Emmi and our outro song is called “A little jar of happiness” by Earle Belo, it’s a pay monthly site that has no copyright issues, thanks for watching and your kind comments 😊
The conservatory suites are lovely but the deck 8 are absolutely ridiculous who ever thought of them on that deck needs sacking !! And the ones on deck 9 are not that much better positioned yes up a bit from the promenade deck but not that much why on earth are they on those decks ?? Why are they not positioned on higher up decks ?? Such a shame x ps looking gorgeous as usual xx
Yes, the ones on deck 8 are a bit of a daft idea, but when we was in Dave and Mandy’s it was surprisingly good, even though only one deck up, definitely a lovely idea and they absolutely loved it. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel😊
Just off Iona which we was on for 2 weeks 19th feb to 5th march. I see Kelly likes clean and tidy so wondering how you cope with the rooms? Ours was COVERED in lint. Every surface was thick with lint and the actual bedding was bitty and linty. Had problems wearing anything dark which would show up lint. Experienced the same with Azura in Jan, the carpet was disintegrating.
Such a shame, we never had this issue, but we always take a lint roller with us, as you have noticed Kelly likes to be clean and tidy, this is very difficult to maintain in such a small space, Kelly tends to have a big tidy every couple of days🙄😂we are on Azura in April so we will have to take a look and see, hopefully we won’t need to many lint rollers🤔thanks for watching 👍🏻
Question for Dave. Being only one deck above the promenade, how did you find the noise, in particular constant people chatting and walking by? I see you were lucky to avoid the sauna area at least! Thanks for showing us your room 👍
Hi , Thank you for your question. We did not have a problem with noise at all, day or night. We were a little over looked from deck 10 but ,open the by-fold doors and your balcony is 3 times larger and not over looked. Already booked one again in August to Norway, deck 9 again, no problem. Thank you again, our best wishes Dave and Mandy. 😁👍
