    My boss at a ranch in the Sierras used to go out in Nevada and find big rocks. He had several tumblers and he made book ends and sold them to a store in Reno.

    Hey Robert, Happy New Year!! I would think you would be at the beach with those waves from a couple of days ago. I some dozens pushing up sand from the water line up onto the beach. Just wondering if they could expose some old treasures. Best of luck this year.

    The cans are from old miners yeah, and it's too expensive to lug everything out so they just litter the desert. People with gold fever will go places for gold. It's easier now with metal detectors, but back then they had to look anywhere and everywhere.

    Not jasper, hazarous waste disposal dump, fish???? ha ha.. DRINK IT! not opal, the sun did not turn the rock white, buy a book that shows where to find minerals in your area. Or try looking in the library near you for that book.
