@InBetweenMen takes more than race and color to connect to people and I personally hate (and know plenty of others like me that feel the same) when people lump me into a category or think they know how i think or act or feel just because I am a minority. I am an individual and approach others the same way. You can choose to watch the show or not. Great if you do! Glad to have you as a fan...TRULY!. But won't be disappointed if you don't watch. @GyThanksGd Yes, blame ADHD. lol. Another big reason is that youtube mostly only allows videos to be about 10min long give or take a few. so people design around the RUclips platform.
Eps won't be weekly because it takes more than week for them to circulate & viewed on the web. webseries rely heavily on word of mouth, blogs and online magazines, etc. & they all have different release dates for their issues. will be about 2-3 weeks between episodes. 3rd episode is our shortest episode by far.

The storyline is so good to me and the guys are so FINE that I dont even care about the bad acting. besides not all of them are THAT bad... the bisexual is pretty good to me and the girls are good as well.

Constructive critical feedback we are very open to and I gladly engage in that kind of discourse frequently as well as speak on panels about it and am a respected voice in the artistic community regarding that topic especially. So, yes, very open to constructive critical feedback, but just criticism alone, no we are not, when it does not have constructive merit-when it is 1 sided and aimed to divide

@559latinochicano While your point is understandable, the stories told by the creator are universal, experiences that many, not all, gay men share no matter race, class, culture. The aim is 2 show universal themes, not ones specific to a certain race. There have been way more emails (thousands) sent to us from fans connecting with the storylines from over 140 countries, than emails complaining about race. I would love to see the day where people stop looking to complain about race in everything.

@InBetweenMen And like I've told others, you are free to create your own work and introduce it into the world to diversify the gay diaspora. No one show can do that. Even if this was a completely black or latino or asian show, it still wouldn't do that. it takes several shows. When Noah's Arc was on tv, the gay media was no more diverse than it was without it. And I personally didn't feel ANY black character on that show represented me as a person or a gay man at all.
I'd never heard of this. Needs emailed to every gay guys' email. Sure it'd catch on.
@GyThanksGd Haha! I love the interest in when is Ben going ot make out. All I can tell you is that Ben does more than make out, but it's later in the season, so you have to stay tuned!. As far as web series being short. Well it's for a reason. First off- cost. Film, when done professionally at a high quality level costs about $1000 a minute and webseries don't large budgets. I can go further into that. Also, studies show viewers typicaly don't commit to web content longer than 10min.
@InBetweenMen It is interesting to me that inbetweenmen is not able to respond well to critical feedback. Again, although I am happy we now have another gay web series, we continue to have yet another mostly White male cast. This is an issue because although the stories are universal, the actual characters are questionable. The characters reflect much of what is already on logo tv and other gay media outlets from race to body image.

yet you made it all the way to episode 6. Clearly your mother never taught you this very old valuable lesson so I will. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. You certainly are not in a position to criticize as you have no idea what it takes to get up and do what it takes to perform what is asked of these actors.

@InBetweenMen If you look at the comments of your viewers, most of them agree that it reminds them of Queer as Folk and other gay shows. Often media correspondents feedback to race/racism is that they are creating universal stories/characters. I would like to believe that you could have universal stories and diverse characters in race, class and culture. I am not complaining about race/racism, I am letting you know that it Exist and that it must be addressed in queer media.
