    Hi, thank you for this tutorial; however, for a novice it is confusing when you say "I am going to rotate" and then you use array command or some command which is is difficult to follow when for instance, I am following your tutorial trying to do what you do. In your next tutorial, can you say the commands you use?

    I think ur tutorial is easy for me to understand,and i think i could try this way to build a model like this one.

    It looks like your strip with square profile is not correct Mobius strip. Because square profile has to be rotated 180 degree, not 360. If simple mobius strip have only one side, your "square" strip must have two sides.

    Appreciate your tutorial, but "Array Polar" is faster in creating the squars

      +GinLA S Yes it is true, I used array polar as well in the tutorial, I just want to use as many techniques since it is a tutorial and in Rhino you can achieve the same result with different commands

    When I try to make Planar Surfaces from the sections it only works for the originally arrayed curves. The curves that were made from the rebuild wont turn into a surface and gives me the error "No faces were made. Curve must be closed and planar." Why is that?

    Hi Jammy, the loft command does not end up like your tutorial even I perfectly follow you. Do you know what might be wrong?

    Hello! First of all, thank you so much for this video. It helped me understand so much about modelling using Rhino.
    I do although have a problem using Boolean Difference command even though I went back and fixed the seam thing and redid the model. I got that far in the video but no matter how hard I try, Boolean won't work. It only works if I use Boolean Difference mesh, but that makes them into meshes and it's so messy.
    Do you have any idea what I can do in this case?

    you skipped over some important points in the adjust seam part, need explanation for the arrow directions..

    • @datum087
      @datum087  3 года назад +1

      I adjusted the seams position between curves in a spiral direction, they alternate corners and when you get to the end you have done a full revolution. The arrows points the direction of the surface so they all need to be pointing in the same direction relative to each curve.

    dude, can you relax and take those steps slowly !? you're saying one thing in certain places and doing another, there are parts of this video which are confusing and you're skipping important steps while executing some commands, we don't know all of this, this is why we're watching your tutorial

      If you don't even know enough to keep with his, in my opinion, slow pace, then you shouldn't be watching this level of a video yet.
