This show is so perfectly mundane yet it's so relatable and timeless.
This is probably the best sitcom to exist, you can relate to a wide range of characters, and it really really hits home!

This might be the most underrated sitcom ever
Brick Heck is one of the best characters i have seen in my 41 years of existence, made me laugh so many times thanks for this show and this character.
One of the greatest moments on tv ever was when he announced the last word he was going to speak to his parents before going silent on them. PUSILANIMOUS!

Mr. Heck needn't be too embarrassed. I spent much of my first year of school back in 1970-71 daily pledging allegiance "to the flag of the Unied States of America, and to the Republic of Whichistan." 🤣
I wanted to ask, "Where is Whichistan, and why are we pledging allegiance to it?" But I was terrified of my teacher, who made no secret of the fact that she didn’t like me, wouldn't have hesitated to yell at me for "asking stupid questions. "
She made Ms. Rinsky look like Mary Poppins.
No matter - by second grade, I figured it out.😁

@@suchitagera6754 , it's been many decades ago, but as I recall, I saw the Pledge of Allegiance in print, and thought, "Ah - 'the republic *FOR WHICH IT STANDS!'"*

This is the sitcom that put all other sitcoms in the history of TV to shame, bar none. I could watch reruns forever.

Sue driving through the smoke was the one violation i noticed but otherwise she did great. She could have hit a fireman or someone. Lol just saying. Glad it went smoothly in the show at least

Can I just say, I think Frankie’s anger is justified in a majority of the arguments on this show. The kids say she nags them but there’s a difference between telling your kids to do something and they do it and when the parents tells you over and over again when you don’t do it.
Do you think Frankie is better than lois from Malcolm in the middle ?
@@Matthew-cv4on I honestly haven’t seen the entirety of Malcom in the Middle. I’m about halfway through season 1. But from what and saw and remember, Lois seemed like the same as Frankie. A mother who’s trying there best.

One would think but they're different so it's awesome! Same time period I think too. These folks are a tiny bit nicer then malcolm in the middle so I prefer the middle
@@clanofkiriyaka9411 agreed. Malcolm's family were just shy of criminal, and sometimes criminal. The youngest and the dad were the only ones with an ounce of nice. Remove them and it is pretty much Brook Shield's family in this series.
But The Middle is a very similar casting setup to Malcom and the youngest brothers are the same
It's not a copy, they don't look alike at all, except for the title. The humor and the characters are very different from Malcolm in the Middle.
