THIS is the 2024 movie of the Le Mans 24hr, which I attended in my Toyota Chaser due to the volume of guests that were joining me. After previously breaking down in my Cobra upon my last visit, I was fond of the Japanese reliability that was working with me.
This is what the full weekend feels like as a British spectator.

I live in Le Mans, it's quite crazy the way the whole city comes alive for the week of the 24h race, i love it 🔥
Need to explain to my boss how I've spent all afternoon watching a drunk bloke shouting "TWINGO!" and booing Teslas.

The ferry back was jokes. We were on the 7pm. We got to the port at 3pm hoping to get on the earlier ferry. We only just made the 7pm! Great expensive few days.
Same! We were on Irish. Got there about 3pm and ended up on the 9pm one instead of the 5pm one. Ridiculous. French passport kiosks had like 2 booths open. 🙄
I loved it this year. Always a great long weekend. Those queues were mad at the border. I got there 3 o'clock on the Monday and JUST made the 5:50
I was in the Blue stickered Vanquish in the queue for the ferry. Great video - and what a sunset!
Very hard to choose a favourite channel between Adam, Harry, Mat and Iain. All put out wonderful stuff.
went in 2023 and felt it was a little less crowded this year. it turns out after watching this video I'm I'm in front of you during the. podium ceremony I spot myself at 26:47

I haven’t been to the 24hr for a few years now but went every year from 2001-2009 consecutive. Had some amazing times, many drink fuelled crazy moments and met some amazing people. Weather was always warmer and drier back then strangely and rarely rained. I stopped going because it got way too popular and saw a lot more aggression from idiots forcing people to wheelspin their cars 😢and causing damage if they never. Glad you had a great time Adam.

Your earlier Le Mans video was the inspiration for my 2021 LM24h visit. This year I visited LM24h for the 2nd time and spent 30 hours at start/finish straight. It was cold, it was wet, it was great, it was Le Mans! Thanks for your inspiration. I guess we'll both be back!

My son went to France on a school trip this same weekend and they spent 6 hours at the port French side waiting to board the ferry it was that busy. Why the hell the school booked a trip this same weekend is beyond me!!!
Le Mans wasn’t the issue. The issue was the French only had 2 booths open for passports compared to the 8 uk ones. Obviously a bottleneck.
Hay Adam. I live in Australia. Don’t see many Chasers here. Sounded like it was a turbo version. You blokes certainly know how to enjoy a race meet and trash the host town. Love ya car. Can’t afford a supercar, but that Chaser and your tribute sticker up was tops. Great vid.
There was barely any queue for the return ferry on the Sunday night - if you can get there in time, that would be my recommendation
I got there in time - 1.5 hours before they told me to.

I think alcohol may have something to do with it The atmosphere in that pub must be absolutely electric and everyone booing Tesla and cheering for the petrol cars was just amazing But the highlights for me was that all female team huge achievement and they finish in a decent position you go girls and the SF90xx

It’s probably the worst motorsport event I ever went to … and I went twice in motorhomes we rented. It’s just a piss up with noise in the background see the odd car …loads of dodgy people stealing stuff or absolutely slaughtered on drinks and drugs. We saw a car doing burnouts hit a few people .. they then went and found the car and smashed it to bits . Drink driving crowd hyping crazy.
The all female team are called The Iron Dames
