- Translation doubts:
Buenos aires / "fair airs", there is word meaning game here, thats why i translate the city name. Once i read the expresion "fair winds", so i just change "winds" for "airs"...
Si fuimos lejos como un horizonte // If we went as far as the skyline: The spanish word "fuimos" can be interpreted as the plural past for the third person of "to be" or "to go". Yes, spanish language got differents words for this meanings but in this verbal time are homophones. However by the context i think that is the past of "to go".
y nuestros muertos quieren que cantemos // and our dead people want that we will sing: I really dont know how to translate "cantemos", this is a particular verbal time of "to sing". In this spanish verbal time an uncertain future posibility or a future desire of develop the action is meant. Yep: "cantemos" means that in the present exist a future singing intention... or something like that, that's why i put a "will" over there :P
