  • Remember that choreo from my stories that I made for community center beginner dance class? Well I liked it so much I ended up dancing it myself 😅. I modified it for a solo and danced it in during a windy day 🌬️. I loved how pigeons kept on flying in the background 😁🐦❤️
This choreo is another thing I can't really define so I label it "ethno-contemporary". I don't even remember where some of the moves come from, I guess it's just the way my body responds to the music. It definitely has some Isadora Duncan inspiration in it though!
Music is a very famous song by @official_enya . I used to listen to her music when I was a child and I must credit Enya for my wast creative imagination, because her music would inspire me to imagine whole stories, before I became dancer and directed my creativity to this artform. When I started teaching dance classes other than my signature Persian dance, I was using some of Enya's music for warm-ups and then I felt inspired to create some choreography for my students. So this is my tribute to Enya, from my child-self ❤️🌼
Have I mentioned it was a windy day? 😂 enjoy my struggle with the wings and costume, we shoot it couple of times and in none of the takes could I avoid getting entangled in the fabric, so I just let it be 😂🌪️
