# 1 😝 absolutely great encounter stories!! Thanks, to all who send them in. I can only speak for myself, but I love all of them.
Prayers and thoughts to the man who has to lie in bed most of the day. Chronic pain is a bitch.
My great grandma used to go "sanging", hunting ginseng when she was a girl in the 1880's in West Virginia. My uncle and I used to hunt ramps, or ramsons, up on the Williams river in West Virginia. Ramps are like wild garlic and there's a ramp festival and lots of ramp feeds in the spring, with fried potatos, pinto beans, and cornbread. Both great grandparents told stories of a wild hairy man that ran them out of the woods when grandpa was hunting, and used to howl scream at them from the wood lines off the dirt roads.
copper 4413
That is so cool! I can imagine for the early European settlers that missed the 1st Nation’s testimonies on them, it must have been horrifying to run into them back then.
@copper 4413, the Williams, the Scenic Highway and Cranberry Glades is like stepping into another world. Beautiful wilderness areas. You've made me hungry, though! Mayonnaise on bread piled with raw ramps is my favorite sandwich. Yeah, don't come too close in the spring unless you've been eating them, too. 😂
@@carmen8673 I've been camping there before a few times. On the beautiful Williams River, at the bottom of the hill on the scenic highway, a few miles from the nature / visitor center at the top of the hill. Did not see BF, thank goodness.🖖🏼🙂
More good stories, thanks Cam. To the retired truck driver who is in pain, I’ve said a little prayer for you. I wish you Gods blessings.

As usual Sir CAMalot, great stories to listen to by the campfire. And your intro music is awesome! Thnx !!!
Here comes my dog. Funniest thing ever. Thought they needed to smell/sniff people, but apparently Cam's voice is enough for my boy. Gets right up on the bed and listens intently.
Yeah Cam has a great voice for our night- night stories
Yep, your pup knows DC makes you happy. Smart Dog. Enjoy your stories tonight.🍖🥓🥩🐕
Dogs know a good human when they hear one...; ). Kind regards
@@texasrose2315 Thanks. I think you're right!
I love it ! Thanks for sharing 🐾
Very relaxing Cam! What the heck is a ginseng hunting? Well I guess we'll.find out. Alway love finding new and old tubes of yours I've not listened to. Time to turn the lights down!! Thanks Cam! -Peter & Tam
Windows and things or ppl looking in at me has always creeped me out. Especially the thought of looking outside and something peering back in eye to eye with me. Yikes!
Aynsleigh Malayne my worst fear!
As always, those were great stories. Thank you, to the guest who sent these in and thank you Cam for sharing them with us.
I enjoyed all the stories. Thank you to everyone who sent in their encounters.
I always find bigfoot peering bedroom window stories the scariest - so to Joey- thank you for the thrilling story. Especially when he slapped the window frame.
Thank you Cam.
Love your story tell'n.💜😍
Blessings to you and yours.
Cam, those pictures you showed on this video of the wood in winter where really, really beautiful and deserve recognition.. The scenes at 18:22 and 24:20 are superior.
This isn't my only story telling channel, most I wonder off while listening, you keep my attention and that's rare, thanks Cam for doing what you do
@JS 😒😌😔😴 ditto!
Have a great week John.
Thanks for the swamp scenes!
From a Louisiana Swamp Rat!
God bless you! ❤️🙏
LOVE YOUR STORIES, AND I APPRECIATE YOU NOT USING CUSS WORDS... THANK YOU AGAIN ...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
More Great Stories! And A Great Story Teller! Thanks Brother for taking the time to read these Awesome memories!
Great stories! I know exactly where that hospital and horse farm are! I used to camp on ther same mountain range about 10 miles down 460 in Virginia!
Never remember seeing any boogers back then though.
Thanks for another great set of stories!
Cam, I am 58 yrs old and live off 702 in Essex and have my whole life. Thank goodness I have not seen the dog man. I have heard of Bigfoot sightings near here but this is the first dog man story. Plz keep up the great stories
Awesome stories tonight Cam-thanks for sharing & thanks to the people for sharing them with you. 😊
Thank you Cam. Awesome encounters! Some good readin' right there!
My ears perked up when you said more dogman stories on the way! Bigfoot got me into the cryptid world, but dogman and these other creepy cryptids always catch my interest. Can’t wait!
My ancestral roots are in northern Georgia. The old-timers there used to call Ginseng "sang". It used to be fairly abundant in Appalachia and I wonder if it still is. Ginseng seeds take two spring seasons to germinate after sowing them in the woods. Cam, those Cypress Swamp shots are beautiful.
Not as much. Some ginsengers don't respect property ownership.
recent moderate illness put me down for past 4 days and your stories only thing i have really enjoyed. Joseph.
Again Cam thank you for the stories I just really enjoy them I sit here and I prep and cook my dinner as I listen the boys come in here and there like we know mom your listen to Bigfoot stories on Dixie Cryptid I won't interrupt you lol
I have been thoroughly enjoying your channel! Thank you!! :-) :-) :-)
Woohoo.... Sunday night booger time!! here we go Cam!
I'm from Virginia ,( not too far from West Va.) and I always love the stories from West Virginia :)
I'm smack dab in the middle of WVa and, yeah, we 'gottem here too. Folks seem to be seeing them oftener in recent years.
They remind me of certain parts of Mississippi!
Same here, I'm fairly close to East River Mountain.
TY Cam. So good as always. I really enjoy these stories. I appreciate every one who shares their stories. They r exciting to me.
WOW! All of these stories were great!! Thank You!!
Bedtime stories from Cam! YAY! I liked all of these👍 As far as Joey’s question about dreams that you smell something? I’m sure some people’s dreams have smells, just as some people dream in color🧐
Today was finally the day my daughter and I were able to have our Christmas. She’s back to her usual self, after so many difficulties, the last 4 months. It was a great day and seeing Cam posted a new video, was the icing on the cake! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Love ya, Cam💕😊
Love your voice and stories I believe bigfoot is real

I'm a West Virginian, I've mushroomed, gather wild edibles all my life..even though I'm not a believer in bigfoot, I still love listening to these stories, who knows maybe one day I'll be proved wrong..thanks Cam, great stories!
ALL those encounter stories were great! I particularly loved the first as he was curious yet respectful and got out safe! But all good! I'm from Illinois, central, and always love to hear anything Illinois. But it usually is the southern part. Noticed there was a couple New England areas in atleast 2 of your stories.
Phenomenally profound support for anyone wishing to share..👍👍👍
Cam love what you do ,and you are really blessed with a great voice and hosting abilities.
I am almost 70 and have never seen a Bigfoot ,a lot of your stories it seems they just won’t to be left alone .
However the dogman stories I’ve heard you do and other people as well.
I don’t think these creatures would give you a break ,I think if you run across one of these creatures you are going to be in big trouble.
I think they are aggressive and extremely violent .
Hope I see a Bigfoot before I die ,can’t say the same about the wolf man creature!!
Another really wonderful selection of accounts---loved the pretty waters in your video too. Thank you!
Thank you Thank you thank you. Just got settled in looked up D.C. YES a new one grabbed a cider and orange done. Life is good.😀
Aloha from Maui younger brother, may YHVH God bless you and your family. I love your shows. Take care home boy.

These are really great story's. I like listen to you. Your voice in perfect for telling story's.
From the ranks of story telling artistry rises a Rembrandt....our beloved DC Cam. Thank you Sir!
Hi Cam, the ginseng story, jogged a memory for me... I also grew up in the mountains of W.Va.... My Mom would send me upon our mountain to gather fresh ginseng and ground ivy tea....My Mom and Mawmaw ( Mawmaw was 1/2 Cherokee) would get into heated discussions about me going upon the mountain by myself. I was born and grew up there, so I knew if I heard anything out of the norm to high tail it home. Mawmaw was always telling us stories of the huge hairy man and the moth man that lived on top of our mountain.
Great stories, Cam! Thanks and I'm already looking forward to your next video!
Thankyou for more great stories Cam. Loved the scenery too. Had me on the edge of my seat, as always!
Cam I absolutely LOVE your videos. I have been interested in Bigfoot for years and each story you read is just awesome! I’m definitely gonna be sending my story in very soon
Awesome! I'll be anxious to read it
Hey Cam the story of rock throwing on east river mountain is literally 5mins from me and everything this man says about locale is completely spot on!! I knew they were here so excited to hear something near me! I bet there are a lot more encounters in this area people just don’t talk about them! Love your channel!!
I gotta tell you Cam, those pictures felt like Home! Then I thought, well, of course they do! He lives right next door in Mississippi...Just down the block from Louisiana. I really love the stories and the way you tell them. Your videos too. Keep 'em coming neighbor!
Thanks for the stories Cam. Enjoyed them very much..
Hey Cam!😁..gd storys bud .. Especially when you put yourself in there shoes !!😁👣👣💈 ..thank ya sir!!
Dixie I cant even begin to tell ya how much I appreciate you and all that have sent you stories.
Thanks to your contributors for sharing their experiences, & well narrated!
Great river view on the video, reminds me of trail riding in the woods.
I live in RI and I've always wondered if there were Bigfoot here. I think I know the beaver dam area in the first story, from hiking in years past. This is the first serious report I've heard of Bigfoot in RI. My hiking days are over...I'm old now, nearly blind, can't drive any more, and all my friends have been wearing out sofa cushions for ten years. So my Bigfoot explorations are vicarious now, thanks to your channel and a few others. I've thought back on past experiences in the woods and I think I've sensed the presence of these creatures and even heard some calls that sounded like owls but not quite. I don't know what Sasquatch is, but I do believer they and other cryptids are out there.
I live here in Mercer county, within 1 mile of St. Luke’s hospital. My daughter and I often walk East River Mountain. I have also walked up there looking for any Bigfoot signs. Wow wow wow
Another great show. Amazing stories! Truck Driver had the guts to step out of his vehicle! I've seen bear and rattlesnakes while "sanging" with my husband, but never Bigfoot. I'm a little bummed and a little grateful for that. Cam, I really appreciate the time you take to edit in the ads. Your timing is perfect.
All really great stories! Thanks Cam and the writers! Have a great week everybody!
What's great in Sunday night? Dixie Crypid stories! Great stories. I heard Terry Arnold on Bigfoot Odyssey this week. He has encounters here in Virginia. I'm hearing more about them here in our state.
20 minutes, 504 views. Killing it my guy!
Thanks cam for all the interesting stories you share with us.
I too watch and re-watch lots of the Bigfoot encounter story channel videos.. including yous! Love them .. I leave them on while I'm cooking and cleaning typically
I like it when you put woods and creeks in your vids,Reminds me of home.Thanks,Cam..
Yeah awesome way to end the weekend my friend.. absolutely love this channel 🐵🐒🙏
I listen to these stories 3 or 4 times I just can't get enough of them buckeye bigfoot also Nancy is great as well keep up the good work
Yes we have Bigfoot here. I call my area the rabbit hole! New England, Massachusetts
Love a Dogman encounter on your channel!
Hey Buddy, that was a nice Cyprus tree forest or swamp photo at the beginning.
Great show as always Cam! ❤😄
You really have a way with story telling. Even though some of these stories can be dam scary they are still comforting by u voice. I just love ur accent here in New England. Nice to hear a story in New England, I’m in mass. The people here are not so nice. They are cold and just downright rude sometimes, but o wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
Hi Stephanie! I'm from Mass too. South of Worcester. I grew up here and just love it! Difference of opinion but I think the people here are wonderful! Yes, it was amazing to hear that BF is alive and well around here. I've never seen one before but I'm totally convinced of their existence. My son thinks he would like to see one to 'shoot it'. I told him he'd be too scared to do it and shouldn't ever think that way! I've heard lots of encounters where people literally crap their pants when they see one! I never believed in aliens either until my husband took a picture of them~ now I know they exist! Take care.
Evansart1, I live closer to Boston but in the suburbs. I did see a UFO when I was a young girl about 16. Of course no one believed me. I’ve just had encounters with things in life that makes me believe that anything can exist her on earth. My childhood house was also haunted. I know someone who seen one and I also knew someone in childhood who was abducted by a ufo and this person never lied to me and was a logical stable person. Well, take care too! Nice to know another New Englander.
evansart1 I’m in Ny just outside of Albany. Not that far from you “as the crow flies...”!
evansart1 I THINK THE INFRASOUND THEY GIVE OFF TO TRY TO REPEL PEOPLE CAUSES THE INCONTINENCE.
Love the stories Cam I love when I get a notification of a Dixie Cryptid video! KEEP'EM COMING
Again great stories cam loved all of them keep them coming
Love the scenery that you put into your show. Your show is one of my favorites. Thanks for all the joy you bring and please keep it up.
Thumbs down? I can understand thumbs downing something like “pour some sugar on me” if you’re diabetic, but a good bigfoot story? What’s the world coming to?
I've noticed people who dislike the subject will actually go through videos just to dislike it. Childish, but it helps out our brother Cam regardless if it's liked or disliked. So haters, hate away. Thumbs down every dixie Crytid video. You're actually funding him lmao
Thanks for this great vid brother.
Watching it in the darkness on my big screen TV just before bedtime.
These amazing stories and the great visuals always relax me after a hard day.
You have such a soothing voice with great expression. I enjoy listening to you with my dog at least once a day if not more. My dog listens until he falls asleep. It is so cute to watch him listen and relax.
I love where you live, Cam. Just shows how beautiful country living is. Thanks for the great narrating and love the videos. Also thanks to those that share their great stories. Thanks from the Golden Coast!
Great tales, well read too. Thanks for sharing them.
love your stories can't wait to listen to the others that I have yet to listen to x
Hi Dixie Cryptid, just wanted to say I love listening to all the stories that get sent in. Keep up the great job, wish I had a story for you but there doesn't seem to be any strange beasties around here, although the kangaroo jumping down our street a few months ago was a little out of place. Cheers from Australia
New England rocks
Great stories and I will stay tuned for more. I have had 2 minor incidents not really worthy mentioning here. I'm waiting to go searching in November for a 3rd encounter. Think I will take some apples and other treats as a peace offering. Ths!
Awesome stories.. we're from W.V, I know there is strange going ons there.
Love your channel. Keep up the great work.....
God bless you!
Cam...you really have a nice place, or I'm assuming this is your land. I bet you never get bored out there. Wow....that poor girl! I can't even imagine waking up and seeing this in my window. That would be hard to get over.
West by God Virginia. What great stories come from that state.
Neat intro. That gets a thumbs up.
Always some good tunes playing on the intro..quality sh%÷ seriosly!!
I grew up in Bluefield, West Virginia, which is on the foot of East River Mountain. Bluefield, WV, Nature's Air-Conditioned City, is on the Southwest border of West Virginia and Virginia, 5-miles from Interstate 77 and adjuncent to U.S. Route 460 and U.S. Route 52. My high school, Bluefield High School, was right below U.S. Route 460 and East River Mountain, about 1-mile from the location of the closed Saint Luke's Hospital. Behind the St. Luke's Hospital and the Horse Farm (nowAndre Fourie Stables) in your story, there are many limestone caverns that very few people know about. These caverns are so dangerous, unexperienced explorers had to recuscued because they got lost, stuck, or injured will exploring these caves.
I love listening to Dogman stories!
Wayne county is the westernmost county in West Virginia. I live here. It is a creepy place. I moved on an old country road here that has an Adena mound 20 years ago. I never believed in ghosts until I moved here. I’ve documented them several times. Possible Sasquatch activity as well. These were a great batch of stories, Cam. You’ve read several WV encounters here lately. Wayne county is a bizarre place.
Actually, after listening to this, I swear he’s talking about my road. The dogs barking, the train tracks, the hill above the creek. I’ve heard what sounded like a woman screaming up there, and have had rocks thrown at me, and I’ve heard HUGE rocks being hurled into the creek. The creek is called Twelve Pole, and it’s creepy enough without Sasquatch. I’ve heard the dogs barking like crazy! Sounds like every dog for 3 square miles.
My wife’s grandmother keeps this Native artifact that was found at the mound. It’s a big rock carved into the likeness of a serpent’s head. I swear this place is as haunted as can be, and her having that rock couldn’t help. I have pics of it. It looks like a ninja turtle head, kind of. lol
78LedHead I WANT TO SEE YOUR ARTIFACT. PRETTY PLEASE. aimeebcurry@gmail.com
I found a peepe Rock 😳
@@kellybrian9378 ok, sure.

yep, twelve pole can be very creepy. I live near lavalette
Truly enjoyed these great job once again Dixie! 🎖
Such a relaxing opening!
Thanks for those my son! Ginsenging does sound like fun. I've learned from your videos and others to never go into the bush without a camera though. I hope every one of your listeners has learned the same.
One day we will get the truth about these things and maybe find out why information about them is ridiculed and quashed! It infuriates me that good upstanding citizens are ridiculed for having experienced a traumatic, life changing event. That most likely wasn't their choice. We need to support them , if only to get more stories.
Keep up the good work brother! Can't wait for the next one.
thanks for the stories, great job
Joey's story is so much like what happened to me when I was a kid. Happened in Missouri. There was footprints but it rained that day and washed them away.
Why is it called dogman when there are no human features mmmm, food for thought. Loving the stories Cam you have the BEST CHANNEL NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.
Hearing a lot of encounters lately in New England. 👍
Cameron I knew this channel was going to be a big hit, but wow, I would love to hear you narrate some Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, what got me interested in story telling, hands down best channel and people on RUclips, thank you.
Yay more stories . Here we go..
Somehow I missed this but glad I found it now! Gives me two in a row to enjoy! Many thanks to you as always Cam!
