When you like the RUclips version then download the less compressed version from Vrideo or WearVR (Links in description). They look look better and sharper than the RUclips version. Especially at the darker parts. Well, it is rendered in 4K, but I think other videos are also recorded in 4K. Movement is not too fast and colors not changing which is good for compression. On the other hand the fine detailed structures of fractals are hard to compress.
if you need this to make you acid truly magical, then i think you may need to seek a higher dosage level. not saying this wouldn't look fantastic on acid, or that this doesn't look fantastic, or that acid isn't fantastic. i just don't know how you'd ever actually watch it at higher doses, god knows what its doing to your brain too.

Sounds cool. But rendering non-VR as 4K would take another 20 days rendering time :-( But the center of the 4K version is quite "flat" non-VR, so I cropped the center in a size of 1920x1080. Thanx. I always do the navi things first so the flight path is complete. After that is done I set lights and other fine tuning stuff but only minimal navigation. More luck on your next project.
The resolution is terrible. I have a 4k monitor and I see large pixels. Not sure this is really 4k. Just because it's blown up doesn't mean it has good resolution.

Well, this is a 360° / VR video, you can look around in the whole 360° sphere with your VR device, smartphone or desktop PC. This video is not stereoscopic 3D because you can't render it stereoscopic with tricks. It is made with the programm "Mandelbulb 3D" and it shows a 3 dimensional fractal, thats why the "3D" in the title. I have created a version with a trick that is at least stereoscopic in the front 180°. Doctor Strange used similar software, same algorithm, modified to work with their 3d modeling program... and for Dormamu's realm, they used chaotica ;)
Well it is a 3D fractal, so it is a mathematical shape in a 3D space. Older fractals like the Mandelbrot often exist only in 2 dimensions, but there are also formulas that can be calculated in 3 dimensions. So no form is built by hand, but built by math.

Yes, it is a Mandelbox (which I find more interesting than the Mandelbulb). But it was rendered with the software "Mandelbulb 3D".
