Sanders is a one-read-run QB, that isn’t as physically gifted as he should be for that play style. And it shows on the stat sheet.
This could also mean his receivers couldnt get separation,its hard to judge qbs unless u are at the game because on tv we cant see down the field. Im not defending shedeur but im just being honest as a student of the game,oregon was also the best team they faced last year BY FAR.

I saw Sanders play against Caleb Williams last year and I was more impressed with Sanders. Williams regressed last year after he won the Heisman the season before. And Sanders doesn't wear pink dresses or paint his fingernails pink so I would imagine he would get drafted very high. I mean the quarterback class coming out next year isn't going to have all the hype that this one had. A lot of hype for not so great college quarterbacks this draft. It's ridiculous where these guys were drafted. .

Do I think Shedeur gets drafted? Sure. Do I think he is a first round pick based on what he has done on the field? Nope. Not a chance. But if he does get taken in the first round, it will be solely because of Deion. Jordan Travis is a better Qb than Shedeur. He was a 5th round pick by the Jets.

I think the real concern for NFL teams is Sheduer Coachable because they probably fear that daddy Deion will be in his ear trying to coach him from the stands. Sheduer had a lot to do with the former OC Shawn Lewis getting demoted I believe.

Arizona was the same way 1 - 11 then improved the next year and then this past year they go 10 - 3. This is the same situation Colorado finds themself in. Now look at Arizona's quarterback situation with improved offensive line and receiver's.

Shedeur is getting drafted high. Mel Kiper, Daniel Jeremiah, Dane Brugler, Louis Reddick, Jason Laconfora,Matt Miller, Adam Rittenberg and Field Yates all have Shedeur in the first round for a reason. I just mentioned every major outlets scouting department and, they have him as a first rounder. It's not a throw he can't make. Also this year he will be in a pro style scheme so if he flourishes this year he will definitely go first round. He is arguably the most accurate QB in this draft

I’ve said it a thousand times. The kid has some arm talent, but takes entirely too long to get through his progressions. The NFL is 2 1/2 second league. If you still have the ball in your hand by second number 3, it won’t matter because you are on your back

This imagination that every other team has a better line than Colorado doesn’t hold water because the backup QB moved the ball up and down the field against the best defense in the conference last season when Shedeur was injured. He got the ball out on time, leaned on the running game and took what the defense gave him. Didn’t hear one discouraging word about the O Line in the presser that week. He also didn’t take the 15 and 17 yard drive killing sack that Shedeur made a weekly part of the offense.

Do you know the lifestyle of a scout? On the road 300+ days of the year. Driving all across the country by yourself. Eating trash food every night. Then having to watch tape, go to games, interview players and coaches. Then on top of that be expected to showcase something that there isn’t a science to. The pay for most area or college scouts isn’t better than what most could get in the media world.

I agree with the GM and Smitty. Shedeur has mechanical issues, holds the ball too long, and is more responsible for 3 years of getting sacked than the lines were. But, he’s definitely a draftable player. I never saw him as a first round pick. More of a 3rd or 4th rounder. But, it’s absurd to think he will get skipped over for 7 rounds. Because his name is Sanders. That has some weight behind it.

Based on upside and college tape, was Brock Purdy at least one draft slot better than Shedeur Sanders? I'd say yes. Which means that Sanders could easily go undrafted, especially with the baggage he and his father come with.
The kid IS a lot of things. Rapper, watch and jewelry lover, car salesman’s dream, world traveler, and probably a pretty good dancer. However, the list of the things he is not includes LEADER, dependable, and mostly NFL QB material. So he is not all bad

He is draftable for sure however anyone notice how they never say look how the ball comes out of his hand! Look at the drive he puts on it! Look at his ability to climb the pocket! Look at when he decides to run how he separates! Look how he quickly dissects the coverage and throws to an open spot! All anyone that supports Shedeur all talk about his stats, now they were impressive, I know I’m dating myself but Andre Ward, David Klingler, and Colt Brennan had great stats not NFL level physical talent and they didn’t make it. Probably the hardest position to play at the professional level in sports so it’s not a slight to say Shedeur has minimal NFL level physical ability and his tendency to hold the ball leaves many to question his ability to read the defense or to play smart football and live to play another down. Only thing I believe he has on a pro level is accuracy is that enough to be a 1st round draft pick? In my opinion no but keeping it real I think all these QBs coming out now are not worth the #1 pick! For all the good draft QBs there are 10 bust

i was saying this back when this kid was in HS. let's look @ "Facts"... facts don't lie... it's all we have to base our opinions and to gain some measure of future probability by.
the facts are this:
*Prime put his kid into a tiny dinky Christian school outside of Dallas. Right next to (not 1 - but 2) of the biggest and best 6A-D1 & 6A-D2 Texas High Schools - both Duncanville and DeSoto. Duncanville alone every year is ranked typically top 5-top 10. Why not put him in there? Because he couldn't compete. He wouldn't have made 2nd string. That's the level of talent at the HS level they have rolling through there. Not to mention Prime didn't have control where he had daddy-ball and could pull the strings to put his kid as a starter.
*At JSU - Prime went and again - stayed with his son, being the head coach. he pumped a ton of his own money into the program - this is an investment he's making into his "son" - not the HBCU/JSU, he could care less about that school, the program or it's kids... they were along for the ride as far as he's concerned.
*Left to go to CU - Prime again - became HC before his kid arrived. Immediately out in front telling everyone - no competition at QB - Shedeur would start.
Don't get me wrong - do I think Shedeur is 100% better athlete than me? Sure I do. Do I think he is an "elite" NFL caliber QB or someone that can be molded to be there? NO!!! That said - do I think he will be drafted - YES, I do. Prime is owed a TON of favors... IMHO - He will be drafted in rounds 4-6... as a favor. Shedeurs goal is to try and be a bench warmer for 3 yrs. Stay in the NFL as long as he can. As a backup to a less injury prone QB - he could spend a lifetime in that role, never get hurt and earn millions upon millions in salary + millions in endorsements. Gravy deal... I think as a QB now - he lacks the football intelligence, the drive and passion that his father had and that so many hungry athletes have who just want this more than air to breathe. He lacks the leadership which is critical at that position. I think he lacks the ability to make good reads and adjustments a majority of the time. Last year his OL took a beating for allowing him to get sacked... what do you do when your QB holds onto the ball for 3-4x longer than the avg QB? You can't protect the pocket forever.
