Hiring managers at normal, regular companies are starting to come out and say that if they see a job applicant's pronouns specified on a resumé, they immediately throw it in the trash. I graduated HS in 1999 and took a East Asian history course as a req in community college. Things I _never_ learned were presented to me, including the reign of Mao Zedong. I've been saying for near a decade there are too many eerie similarities between how social media is being used and Mao's "Great Leap Forward" and Cultural Revolution. I'm not pleased that it turns out my personal observation turned out to be true.
Interestingly, I took an East Asian history course just a few years ago at a University and they pretty much red-washed over all of those historical facts about Mao Zedong's China and instead talked about how great the Mongolian empire was under Ghenghis Kahn (even though he slaughtered more people and raped more women than anyone else in known history).

If this slow moving revolution does eventually reach the point of having the power to exercise outright violence, it's going to take many small groups of people helping one another to make it to the other side of it. Having people that have experienced past revolutions would be an invaluable resource for any of those groups. As far as the bike cult goes, it isn't the only recruiting method. I attended one of the largest universities in the country. During that time I attended many meetings of various groups. There were many more avenues that targeted students at the university. Lots of groups that could funnel young and impressionable people into the revolutionary brainwash pipeline. The bike co-op route is a special interest of mine because I went to the street protests in my city and saw the bike squad in action there in 2020. I saw how organized and cohesive that group was and how they were quite literally herding the crowd through downtown. I understood that that kind of group organization doesn't come without at least a moderate amount of active training time. I wondered how and where this training took place. There where 50-60 people in the bike phalanx at some of the bigger protests and they all appeared to know their role and worked together en masse. The conversations in this comment section sparked some old memories of the bike co-op and the group rides that would take off from the university. I remembered the type of people and the kind of ideologies that they were promoting. Now I'm fairly certain that I've figured out where at least some of the street protestors were recruited and started their training. I went to the protests in my city about a dozen times in the summer of 2020 and observed them. I even instigated a few minor confrontations in order to see how the group would react and in order to flush out the leadership. I approached it like reconning a hostile army. Spent hours just blending into the crowd and watching the various groups there. Seeing how they reacted to being challenged. Watching to see runners coming and going to what I refer to as the "street lieutenants". It was very interesting and very troubling to see the obvious signs of group training and high levels of organization. It made me realize that they had been well trained for these protests ahead of time.

Listening to your commentary in the first few minutes of the video about how people are used and then discarded once history has moved on, I think this roughly what's happening with womens rights and the trans movement. The sex-based rights of women were considered sacred by the progressive movement a few years ago, but have now been discarded in favour of trans rights (or rights conferred by self identification), and thinking of rights as having sex-based properties is considered reactionary.

I'm hoping that enough people who need to hear this hear it, but I'm not sure if it will be enough to crack through the thick diamond exterior of their minds to help. I believe that the most common and near immediate response will be "but that's not how it will be when I do it, my communism (or whatever other movement) will be the one that gets it right". I highly doubt that any amount of historical evidence will be enough to legitimately convince them, because they view almost everything from the past but their idols as incorrect and evil. Even their idols did something wrong or had a disadvantageous world that would give them the excuse they need to believe that they will do better and be successful. To any woke person who ends up reading this comment, I'm not saying this to disparage you or make you sound evil or stupid. I'm really trying to point out how thoroughly your ideology has convinced you that you can make a fundamentally dysfunctional system work, that you can achieve utopia when no one else could. I promise you, you cannot. Not because there is something wrong with you, but because what you want just can't exist in the way you want it to. I don't want to see you continue to push for something that is highly temperamental and will eat you alive as soon as you unleash it. As evil as you may think people on the other side are, we do make moves that we believe will ultimately help you. "What you want just can't exist in the way you want it to" - I think this is the most crucial message for those who can still critically think. The moral intentions of the woke aren't bad, per se, but their chain of reasoning toward solutions are always of the following kind: "X is immoral, therefore we should stop people from doing X. If they're doing something immoral, then they deserve to be stopped even by force. Therefore, we will force people to not do X." What they don't consider are system dynamics and the law of unintended consequences. They don't see how that exact pattern leads to tyranny. How do we help them to see that their aims can be largely met (to the extent possible) by engaging constructively and learning about system dynamics and the histories of failed attempts. They just need patience. As much patience as the corrupting forces in our society had in creating their generation. Moral progress takes generations, not a bootheel on someone's neck.
I remember every store clerk who mask-checked me during the shutdowns. I remember every jab braggart and 6-ft rule enforcer. I stand tall now, because I stood up when it counted. I know that fear doesn't work on me, because I risked it all and came out on top. I rely on God and fear no man. We have been talking to our daughter (now a pre-teen) about all of this since she was 9. Daily I find myself giving her nuggets of truth, watching videos on prager U that educate her about the truth of socialism and communism. I warn her that some of her friends and teachers will try and drag her into this. She tells me every time she sees any of that type propaganda. We counter every single bit of woke nonsense with common sense and will continue to guide her in this crazy time she is growing up in. I'm not a socialist, nor a communist, nor woke, and I very much applaud your approach. As a German historian though, I often wonder about the American discourse and its tendency to quickly assign the labels "communist" and "socialist" to movements like the woke one. I'd like to advise caution with these terms. The dangers that you want your daughter to detect do not necessarily stem from the concepts of socialism or communism - but from the historical forms in which these ideologies (just like capitalism is an ideology) have been perverted. The totality, exclusivity, and extremity of Maoism, Stalinism or German National Socialism are not inherently inscribed into said concepts. Two things to think about: German National Socialism was never socialist, and communism as a concept has next to nothing to do with exclusvity. Communism and socialism are labels which have themselves been wrongfully assumed by dictatorial regimes of the past, with the intent to justify their atrocious actions, thereby blurring the actual definitions. What was described in this open letter is not, in essence, socialism, communism, or Marxism - but Maoism. Therefore, the parallels to the woke mindset are not to be found in the concepts of socialism or communism, but rather in Maoism, Stalinism etc. We need to be able to separate concepts like capitalism or socialism from their possible realizations, especially when educating our children about the origins of such things. Otherwise, we couldn't even debate questions like this: Is the 21st century Chinese government communist or capitalist? I'll let you ponder on that!
I have 4 sons, 21-29. They have told be the love and enjoyment of family has been what protected them from this nonsense. The underlying message to rebel or flee from their family doesn't work on them.

I hope so. In my experience though, when I think they get it and I turn around they spit it out. The person I am thinking of seam to covet it so much that no matter what, they would always go back to it. I have no idea why this happens. I do not think this hold true for all, probably not even a majority. I wish though, that you would add in that this also applies to the "Proud boys" the Antifa of the right . They need to be held accountable just as the woke left. I’m a millennial but I grew up in a first generation immigrant family so I was raised with rather conservative values. I worked hard to learn valuable skills and get out of poverty and into a fairly comfortable financial situation. I believed wholeheartedly in our capitalist system and acted accordingly. However, in recent years I’ve had a few major health issues I’ve had to deal with. Thankfully the company I work for has been accommodating because I am still able to manage good performance (sometimes at a cost to other things though, like keeping my house clean). These experiences opened my eyes to the woeful lack of social safety nets and the pressure to either make the elite massive profits or be discarded in our society. As long as conservatives keep voting for more profits for the elite and less rights for the workers, the more they will push everyone else to the left. The woke youth are not solely responsible for their increasing interest in socialism, and the easy way to fix that is for the right to acknowledge the problems they are creating and vote for laws and politicians that are for the masses rather than the elite. Many European countries have proven that a mixed economy is very feasible and stable. Few Nordics are clamoring for a communist revolution because they are provided much more comfortable and calm conditions.

Im 22 and disgusted by the "woke" disease. I was lucky enough to actually go outside to have fun as a kid and get hurt and not really have technology until i was like 15 and even then it wasnt the best stuff. I bring this up because you brought up suicide and this this happened recently to a friend of mine when his young son killed himself after his first ever sexual encounter with a woman didn't go as planned because he couldn't perform because he had been numbed by pornography. When the real thing was finally in front of him, it was a total letdown. Sex is now perceived to be an Olympic event and if you are someone with body issues or you are not ready to just drop your pants and pleasure 3 or more people then you are in for a life changing letdown.

I think you should first define terms, like who you consider to be "woke people". If you go online and ask three people to define one of these terms, you will get 4 different definitions. This is the problem, theres so much hate, there is so much division and how toxic social media is and how much the government is playing off of this. Well politicians trying gain power. Or the fact that the LGBTQ+ and ramming their shit in everybody's faces and people are getting fed up with it. Weather or not we want to live our life, theres change about to happen, change that might just justify this country's future and weather or not we like it... Its at this time people need to start choosing sides. The natural gender roles and even male female pairing is being thrown out the window. Im one of those persons who is having a very tough time in life right now, unable to find work let alone trying to keep a job. And woman my age are going for men who are twice their age just because they want a kickstart in life and not wanting to build and be proud with what they have and built for. I Used to do so many thing in my youth and i kick my self in the ass because i wasted half my years and still wasting them probably because i do have a high problem with society and authority. But that's my problem to solve. I know what it feels like to have a good life, pretty woman at your side, good money, i lost it all because one day i woke up and told myself was it even worth it? Because weather you like it or not, at the end of the day, this shit going on is never going to change and that we are slaves to society for the power of the politician. Its not longer power to the people. Manipulation goes a long way for the higher ups.

At 70 I saw this comming and have been trying to warn youth that they will ultimaely suffer but no one wanted to listen and I'm to old to be bothered anymore because it's too late to stop it. Powerfull stuff but those who need to hear this will probably not and those who do will likely ignore it. For those in their late thirties there's no way out.

Hiring managers at normal, regular companies are starting to come out and say that if they see a job applicant's pronouns specified on a resumé, they immediately throw it in the trash. I graduated HS in 1999 and took a East Asian history course as a req in community college. Things I _never_ learned were presented to me, including the reign of Mao Zedong. I've been saying for near a decade there are too many eerie similarities between how social media is being used and Mao's "Great Leap Forward" and Cultural Revolution. I'm not pleased that it turns out my personal observation turned out to be true.
Interestingly, I took an East Asian history course just a few years ago at a University and they pretty much red-washed over all of those historical facts about Mao Zedong's China and instead talked about how great the Mongolian empire was under Ghenghis Kahn (even though he slaughtered more people and raped more women than anyone else in known history).
My best friend's family is from there (and literally barely escaped with their lives from a US embassy). His father would tell me these stories and I listened and remembered, but could not understand until recently.

I'm glad to hear that you'll be able to help those who can't help themselves. If this slow moving revolution does eventually reach the point of having the power to exercise outright violence, it's going to take many small groups of people helping one another to make it to the other side of it. Having people that have experienced past revolutions would be an invaluable resource for any of those groups.
As far as the bike cult goes, it isn't the only recruiting method. I attended one of the largest universities in the country. During that time I attended many meetings of various groups. There were many more avenues that targeted students at the university. Lots of groups that could funnel young and impressionable people into the revolutionary brainwash pipeline.
The bike co-op route is a special interest of mine because I went to the street protests in my city and saw the bike squad in action there in 2020. I saw how organized and cohesive that group was and how they were quite literally herding the crowd through downtown. I understood that that kind of group organization doesn't come without at least a moderate amount of active training time. I wondered how and where this training took place. There where 50-60 people in the bike phalanx at some of the bigger protests and they all appeared to know their role and worked together en masse.
The conversations in this comment section sparked some old memories of the bike co-op and the group rides that would take off from the university. I remembered the type of people and the kind of ideologies that they were promoting. Now I'm fairly certain that I've figured out where at least some of the street protestors were recruited and started their training.
I went to the protests in my city about a dozen times in the summer of 2020 and observed them. I even instigated a few minor confrontations in order to see how the group would react and in order to flush out the leadership. I approached it like reconning a hostile army. Spent hours just blending into the crowd and watching the various groups there. Seeing how they reacted to being challenged. Listening to your commentary in the first few minutes of the video about how people are used and then discarded once history has moved on, I think this roughly what's happening with womens rights and the trans movement. The sex-based rights of women were considered sacred by the progressive movement a few years ago, but have now been discarded in favour of trans rights (or rights conferred by self identification), and thinking of rights as having sex-based properties is considered reactionary.

I'm hoping that enough people who need to hear this hear it, but I'm not sure if it will be enough to crack through the thick diamond exterior of their minds to help. "What you want just can't exist in the way you want it to" - I think this is the most crucial message for those who can still critically think. The moral intentions of the woke aren't bad, per se, but their chain of reasoning toward solutions are always of the following kind: "X is immoral, therefore we should stop people from doing X. If they're doing something immoral, then they deserve to be stopped even by force. Therefore, we will force people to not do X." What they don't consider are system dynamics and the law of unintended consequences. They don't see how that exact pattern leads to tyranny. How do we help them to see that their aims can be largely met (to the extent possible) by engaging constructively and learning about system dynamics and the histories of failed attempts. They just need patience. As much patience as the corrupting forces in our society had in creating their generation. Moral progress takes generations, not a bootheel on someone's neck.
I remember every store clerk who mask-checked me during the shutdowns. I remember every jab braggart and 6-ft rule enforcer. I stand tall now, because I stood up when it counted. I know that fear doesn't work on me, because I risked it all and came out on top. I rely on God and fear no man. I cannot turn my head without the bill of my cap hitting 10 idiots, but I am at peace with God and within myself. I am thankful that he tested me and gave me the courage to pass the test, because the results very much count going forward. We have been talking to our daughter (now a pre-teen) about all of this since she was 9. Daily I find myself giving her nuggets of truth, watching videos on prager U that educate her about the truth of socialism and communism. I warn her that some of her friends and teachers will try and drag her into this. She tells me every time she sees any of that type propaganda. We counter every single bit of woke nonsense with common sense and will continue to guide her in this crazy time she is growing up in. I'm not a socialist, nor a communist, nor woke, and I very much applaud your approach. As a German historian though, I often wonder about the American discourse and its tendency to quickly assign the labels "communist" and "socialist" to movements like the woke one.
I'd like to advise caution with these terms. The dangers that you want your daughter to detect do not necessarily stem from the concepts of socialism or communism - but from the historical forms in which these ideologies (just like capitalism is an ideology) have been perverted.
The totality, exclusivity, and extremity of Maoism, Stalinism or German National Socialism are not inherently inscribed into said concepts. Two things to think about: German National Socialism was never socialist, and communism as a concept has next to nothing to do with exclusvity.
Communism and socialism are labels which have themselves been wrongfully assumed by dictatorial regimes of the past, with the intent to justify their atrocious actions, thereby blurring the actual definitions. What was described in this open letter is not, in essence, socialism, communism, or Marxism - but Maoism.
Therefore, the parallels to the woke mindset are not to be found in the concepts of socialism or communism, but rather in Maoism, Stalinism etc.
We need to be able to separate concepts like capitalism or socialism from their possible realizations, especially when educating our children about the origins of such things. Otherwise, we couldn't even debate questions like this:
Is the 21st century Chinese government communist or capitalist?

I’m a millennial but I grew up in a first generation immigrant family so I was raised with rather conservative values. I worked hard to learn valuable skills and get out of poverty and into a fairly comfortable financial situation. I believed wholeheartedly in our capitalist system and acted accordingly. However, in recent years I’ve had a few major health issues I’ve had to deal with. Thankfully the company I work for has been accommodating because I am still able to manage good performance (sometimes at a cost to other things though, like keeping my house clean). These experiences opened my eyes to the woeful lack of social safety nets and the pressure to either make the elite massive profits or be discarded in our society. As long as conservatives keep voting for more profits for the elite and less rights for the workers, the more they will push everyone else to the left. The woke youth are not solely responsible for their increasing interest in socialism, and the easy way to fix that is for the right to acknowledge the problems they are creating and vote for laws and politicians that are for the masses rather than the elite. Many European countries have proven that a mixed economy is very feasible and stable. Few Nordics are clamoring for a communist revolution because they are provided much more comfortable and calm conditions.

Pragmatic thinkers who are able to detach emotion from critical thought can see it for what it is. Emotional thought focuses on the moment, not on the potential outcomes. Who is behind it? That's not exactly clear. Why? That can only be answered by speculation.
I think a good thing to remember about societal rules is this: Whatever power you give to the government or some other organization, realize that the people running that institution won't be there forever. And when they inevitably pass and someone else replaces them, it's unlikely that they'll hold the same values you supported before then.
This is a fundamental problem to all humanity. Absolute Monarchies and Constitutional Republics and everything in between. An absolute monarch can be corrupt or not, can be replaced with the fickle wind and a single bullet. A constitutional republic may be harder to corrupt, but it's also harder to purify.

I bring this up because you brought up suicide and this this happened recently to a friend of mine when his young son killed himself after his first ever sexual encounter with a woman didn't go as planned because he couldn't perform because he had been numbed by pornography. When the real thing was finally in front of him, it was a total letdown.

When did I say there were no problems? I said they tend to imagine some where there aren't any. This is referring to spaces where they either literally make up a problem, or blow some minor thing up into high heaven. At 70 I saw this comming and have been trying to warn youth that they will ultimaely suffer but no one wanted to listen and I'm to old to be bothered anymore because it's too late to stop it. Powerfull stuff but those who need to hear this will probably not and those who do will likely ignore it. For those in their late thirties there's no way out.
Lost a few friends who walk down this woke path. If that is what it takes, so be it. Maybe in the end, we can be friends again. I'll accept them back with open arms.

Also, the only other reasons for doing it are worse, namely autogynephilia which im pretty sure is also what generally goes on, as partial reasoning nobody would want to admit, even to themselves.
