Before seeing this video....i would go to a store or market, buy an ice cream bar and enjoy.....NOT THINKING or knowing how the process to create it was done.....makes me appreciate the hard work and machinery technology it takes to create a sweet treat!
I visited an ice ream factory on a field trip in third grade. They gave us all two ice creams freshly made straight from the machine. They were just sticks, one with vanilla ice cream and one with strawberry ice cream but I remember how soft it was. That vanilla stick was definitely the best bland vanilla stick I will ever eat.

Because these days when people see some people working in factories, they scream 'exploitation'
Just wait for the people that say AI won't take their jobs because they will need people to repair machines or fix any other problem with them. But find out that the robots using AI take over the repair jobs too.
Consider this: in the mid-late 1800s, some 95% of US workers worked on farms. Today it's under 2%. So in one sense, automation has destroyed 93% of farm jobs. But few people would rather go back. We have better things to do than 12 hours 6 days a week cleaning out barns and fixing fences.

Craziest part about this is that if more people worked and did this by hand, it would reduce pollution, cut overworking, make a better quality product, get more people employed, reduce the use of massive plots of land being used for massive factories, and give more people the ability to get enough money to live, while still having time to yourself. Too bad people don't want responsibility anymore.

I always wonder how they decide what parts of the manufacturing process to NOT automate. So many of the people seem to be doing mind-numbing repetitive operations that surely could be done by automation. Pick it up from here, place down over here.
When I was at uni in the mid 1970s we went to an ice cream factory for a visit for one of the subjects I was doing. Older technology back then, and nowadays they don’t allow visitors in to watch them being made for health and safety reasons. We went to 6 different areas for different ice creams. After the explanation we were given an ice cream to eat from that machine. I could only eat 5 ice creams out of 6 in 2 hours. I just couldn’t look or eat another ice cream by the 6th machine.

a bakery in my town had a mechanical breakdown of a machine part used to create fruit and sweet fillings in a pao doce, malasadas. Their pr firm said it will take up to 4 weeks to fix before production can begin again..........
