Thank you very much Mr Villalobos for this great video, I have found here a solution for my problem in using the GENCALC program properly. The problem was that i didn't set the output files in the simulation options to default . I wish you all the best Jalal Elgadi
Dear Prof, thank you so much for all the most insightful videos. I need to help me to know how can I correct, When i have created all the files and run the model i got the simulation result with the same value of all the treatments. How it possible to show different value of simulation as per the observed value of the treatments given?
Hola Francisco, muchas gracias por su video. Tengo una duda con respecto a los coeficientes genéticos, uno podría calibrar un cultivar y simularlo en varias localidades o los parámetros solo sirven para la localidad de calibración?
If the model is good (as we assume with most DSSAT models) the genetic coefficients should be independent of the location so calibration should be valid everywhere
Thank you very much, Senor Villalobos! Es muy bien! So, the objective of the calibration exercise which you did, was to be able to adapt the Grain Sorghum crop in DSSAT to the grain sorghum from the published experiment, yes?

Dear Prof Villalobos, Thanks for your video. It is really helpful to me. I have a question about the Experimental table: If i do treatments for 2 to 3 consecutive years (one measurement every year), how can i put observed values to the table? Thanks you in advances. Dlam
