Hi there, nice job, congrats! Pretty time consuming as it seems though. I have the same issues (or worse), what would you say to the following: I'm planning to cut out a shape like this, but only from the top layer of the deck, remove the foam, attach fiberglass layers to the bottom layer of the deck and epoxy everything together. As the bow sides also have serious delam, would it make sense to add several layers of fiberglass all around the bow (wrapping it), starting from the front plyon?
Also, could you add a bill of materials (especially the type of fiberglass)? Thanks a lot.

Hi Egy! Bummer to hear you have the same issues. That sounds like a very serious repair. I would not just wrap the sides of the hull with fiberglass. If there is delamination occurring that would not hold over time. You would need to cut out any portion of the soft hull until you have a firm foundation. The West System Fiberglass Boat Repair & Maintenance manual on google has some good information about how to patch the side of a hull. What you are considering for the deck may work, I would suggest repairing to the Gunwale to make sure your new fiberglass layup anchors to something solid. It is time consuming, for your project I would guess that would be several months of work if doing it part time. Wish you the best!
