A lot of you are questioning why Avery killed Derrick. It's because she's liked Michael for 4 years and he knew that but since he also liked Michael he started dating him. She hated that she was too shy to confess so she became overwhelmed with jealousy and anger whenever she saw them together. She killed Derrick in a fit of rage and basically lost her mind after that. She has attachment issues because her parents ditched her after Cassidy, her younger sister, "disappeared." That's all xd
